I read all the reviews and went with the XL just to be safe. The dress is beautiful, fits well, I prefer a little room so it's not tight. Biggest issue proved true I couldn't get the zipper up. Stops at the waist. My husband had to assist me. The waist trim goes all the way round. I got the dark purple. Lace is soft cotton and the lining is a poly stretch fabric. I'm 5'7ish and it's to the floor on me which I prefer. I'm probably going to put in a new zipper because I can. It does require a slip or under dress as it's see through at the lace waist and bodice. Or, I might run a purple ribbon through it ...I generally wear slips under my dresses anyway... For the price, I'm pleased. Just small issues for me ... show more

This dress is beautiful and like I titled it, makes me feel pretty. Elegant and flowy. My only con is the sizing is a bit funky. I ordered my size and it fit perfectly in the shoulder and chest area, but not the waist. Way too small. So I sized up when reordering and while it still looks lovely, the shoulder and chest area are definitely baggier than they should be, while the waist fits perfectly. Wish there was a little more of a sweet spot. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase. Color and quality are top notch.
