I bought these to wear under my riding helmet so the thinner thickness is what I was looking for. This way I can ride my horse in winter without my ears turning red! This fits nicely, I have a small head and generally have a hard time finding an ear and that fits and these do. I like that they come in a three pack so I can wash them and still have another to use. The ear warmers are a bit on the thin and larger side. I would not consider them to be "ski-worthy" warmers, but are suitable for a colder winter or windy day. My ears are very sensitive and I need to keep them covered during the winter season of the Midwest which can get pretty harsh. I lost my favorite ear warmers and had to order these from Amazon (thank God for Amazon!) because the stores had basically gotten rid of the winter accessories to make way for the upcoming spring season. I thought I had received a pretty good value because I received three warmer headbands. I would recommend these warmers for a normal Midwestern winter's day - not a super-cold one. ... show more

Easy to get off and on. Perfect size for my head without being too tight. Nice fabric that does it job in keeping forehead, back of neck and ears warm. I've even used one around me neck to keep the wind out of my coat. Well worth the money.

Material is thin, but these ear warmers actually kept my ears fairly warm on my trip to Alaska with temps in the teens. I was very skeptical at first and a little irritated, b/c I didn't open them until I was already in Alaska, but since that's what I had, I wore them anyways.
