abunda_amazon_reviews This Bayou Classic propane pressure regulator works perfectly. For those wondering about the hex key slotted screw on the side of the regulator where it says 'gauge' (not to be confused with the lock nut on top) it absolutely is for a pressure gauge. I'm using one. It's working. The screw is in pretty snug but comes out without needing to apply heat or anything crazy. Maybe use something clamped onto a hex key for better leverage. When I was buying this product I read some of the answered questions to help inform my purchase and some of them are plain wrong. It does screw into any tank that has threads on the inside of the valve and takes a gauge purchased separately. I'm using this for a blacksmith forge and it works great.
