I bought my headboard as "Used- very good" condition. It arrived with a few scuffs and a missing button. I haven't found anything to repair the scuffs yet, but I cleaned up some of the dirt and grime near them with a magic eraser. it worked fairly well. I have the white headboard, and I would encourage you to spot test any cleaning agent before using it where it would be seen. The head board took about an hour to assemble myself using zinus brackets and the zinus 14 inch bed frame. The headboard legs are a bit flimsy, so I would suggest removing the mattress, so you don't have that weighing the bed frame down when you have to move the frame back against the wall. The legs tend to get stuck in the rug if you don't, and I worry they would crack if too much pressure is applied. I've seen other people mention that buttons were missing. I found the exact replacement by searching "10pcs Diamond Crystal Upholstery Sofa Headboard Sew Buttons Wall Decor 18mm Dia". It was a a bit of a pain to sew into the tuft where the previous button had been, but I consider the stress worth it due to the cost savings on buying this used. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. The buttons really shine on the headboard, and give it a feminine, sophisticated look. ... show more

Not difficult to assemble definitely would be better if you had two people to help you take the bout 30 minutes to assemble it’s very beautiful I would recommend getting the zinus brackets by amazon to support a bed frame like the one pictured purchased separately of course. If you have regular bed rails I would say you need to make sure that it will attach to your regular bed rails I do not have a boxspring on my bed the size of my bed is a queen this is a queen pillow top mattress I already had for about a year. With the boxspring it would’ve been very high but you can’t adjust the headboard to be really really high if you want to put a boxspring on your bed if you like a very high bed you can adjust how much space you want to show between the headboard and the mattress and the wall I wanted minimum space to be shown but I also wanted the full headboard to show ... show more

This serves my needs which was to get a headboard for a new bed in an infrequently used bedroom. The legs attached to the headboard easily and securely, but I never could get the headboard attached to the bed frame where it didn't wobble. I ended up scooting it against the wall. The headboard is adjustable. It's not very high, so either it shows air between the headboard and the mattress or it hits just below the top of the mattress and pillows cover the headboard. I chose to do the latter and will just put some art above the pillows. When people take away the decorative pillows to sleep, they'll see the headboard, and it will look nice. It doesn't look expensive but it doesn't look cheap either. I am a little concerned with the content of the material not being organic and trust it's not toxic. ... show more
