    • Haven't had a Battery Tender crap out yet.
We have 3 different models of Battery Tenders in this household; 1.25 amp, 800 ma, Battery Tender Jr. Oldest is at least 5 years old. Haven't had any of them fail yet, and 3 of the 5 total sit on cars year-round. One even sits under the car where it doesn't get rained on, but the environment is nonetheless not ideal. Another has a 25 ft extension on the battery leads (ring terminals attach to battery), so that unit can sit in dry garage. Works fine - dead reliable. Had a NOCO Genius unit on one car and it failed after only 6 months. 'Nuff said. ... show more
