First, I must correct the reviewer who claims that heat rises. That is NONSENSE. HOT AIR does rise, so unless you're an airhead... 😄. No, HEAT is energy and radiates, and it does so nicely in this hat. It gets toasty warm quickly, even on low setting. I spend a great deal of time outside in the cold; I highly recommend this to anyone.

Doesn’t get very warm even on highest temperature but slightly better than no heat at all. Battery was very difficult to insert in the pocket. Bought for someone with extra large head but could have benefited from a much smaller size.

Let's just start off with the fact that this a decent knit hat/cap to begin with. Even without heat, this covers your head well. So, the problem with a lot of these heated clothes is that they just plain don't work. By that, I'm talking about the first nature of heat. What does heat do? Heat rises. So, heated hat? The heat just rises straight up and away from your head. And that's what happens here - the heat just doesn't make it into your head. It just rises and goes away. If you're just wearing this hat alone, forget it - you're not getting any additional heat from the heater. If, however, you wear a hood above these, like the hood from your parka, then the heat gets trapped inside of it. The heat has nowhere to rise to, and you can feel the heat from this. But if you're wearing a beanie and a parka hood, well, guess what? Your head's going to be warm anyway. But the heat only lasts about 90 minutes. That's it. They claim four to five hours? What a joke. The one positive thing I can say is that you might think that having the weight of the batteries on your head would be annoying, but it just isn't - you don't even notice it. Not recommended.

I absolutely love my Heated Beanie Hat! This has become my go-to winter accessory. It keeps my head so warm even in frigid temperatures. The fabric is soft and stretchy. It fits comfortably over my big head. The heating element runs throughout the hat and distributes warmth evenly. There are 2 heat settings you can adjust as needed. On the highest setting, it gets piping hot. It's really easy to operate. You just press the button on the battery pack to turn it on/off and cycle through the heat settings. The battery pack is removable so you can wash the beanie normally. The battery life is impressive. I get up to 4 hours of use on a single charge. It charges back up quickly with the included USB C cable. The hat is also machine washable which is super convenient. I love wearing it around town when running errands or walking the dog on cold days. It's perfect to keep your head warm at outdoor sporting events too. I highly recommend this heated beanie to anyone that wants to stay cozy in the winter. It makes a great gift idea as well. Don't let the cold weather stop you from enjoying the outdoors! This hat ensures you stay toasty no matter how low the temperature drops. 5 stars for sure!

I got this because I’m bald and need the heat. The pictures indicate that the heat runs in a band the full circumference of the hat, but in reality are just two circles of heat roughly where the ears are located.

I usually read other reviews before posting just to see if I missed something before rating it. Obviously if you have something on top of this it is going to be warmer, same thing as wearing a beanie and a hoodie. Even my heated hoodie /jackets perform better when there is another layer on top of them 😜. I have personal used this in the woods for hunting and I am quite happy I had this over a non-heated beanie. This thing is big, I usually flip the bottom over the button to cover the light when out hunting. I like the feel of this one over another I picked up. Make sure you position the battery right so you can get it as close as possible to being at the back of your head. Battery life as seems fine, able to use it for a while day when needed.

It heats well, heating up pretty quickly.It doesn't get super hot but it gets a pretty good consistent heat. It's a little heavy/ big so after wearing it very long it doesn't exactly stay on like regular beanies do. But it's performance overall is good
