Description

This versatile switch can be found in many models of battery chargers, and can also be used as a cost-effective retro-fit to replace more expensive OEM switches in many others. Designed to be easy to install through a 7/16" stem- mounting hole. Wire terminals use .250" industry-standard solderless push-on connectors. No specialty tools required. When oriented with the "OFF" position at 12 o'clock, this switch has 4 contact positions at the 2, 4, 6, and 8 o'clock positions. NOTE: EFFECTIVE 7/2022, THIS SWITCH IS SHIPPING WITH A LARGER, HEAVY-DUTY SKIRTED KNOB WITH A BRASS SLEEVE AND SET SCREW. SEE IMAGES.

A little pricey but definitely a higher quality switch than what came on the charger originally. Be careful when changing the wires over. The instructions gave some options but my charger was was actually wired differently than those given as well as wire colors.

I was able to fix my dad's old Sears battery charger from the 70's with this switch. I've had this in my garage for several years and used it heavily until a few years ago the switch went out and stopped working and there it sat. This switch fixed it. My dad's gone now but everytime i use his battery charger is always reminds me of him. RIP DADDY ... show more

Replaced the switch in my 30 year old NAPA charger which works perfectly and only had a broken switch. Provided the transformer and diodes don't fail the charger will be good for another 30 years with this switch.
