- High Energy Transfer - The nickel-plated steel 3/8" post and solid copper core allow higher torque than conventional bulkhead connectors with brass shaft. They are continuously rated for 440 amps @ 12V, or a maximum of 550A @12V for up to 12 minutes with a 80% duty cycle. Max voltage rating of 48vDC
- Easy to Install - A 1.375" hole is all the connector needs to pass through the panel and a large hex nut secures it on the back side. The 4 holes of the flange allow you to use screws or bolts to further secure the connector and prevent any rotation
- Heavy Duty Construction - The body is made of glass-filled Nylon, the core is made from copper, the silicone gasket is fiberglass reinforced, and the insulator boot has a IP65 weatherproof rating and meets USCG, ISO and ABYC safety requirements for energized terminals

Very well built. Others have asked about additional boots so they can be applied to both sides. This is what I found and works. Looks identical to what comes with these. MGI SpeedWare 1.25" Diameter Boot Cover Would be nice if the advertising identified mounting screw hole diameters and provided recommendations for mounting with gasket on the inside or outside of the bulkhead.
