- Quick Fit Design: Trimmed easily on-site, this cedar roof venting strips into place between rafters or studs near any standard roof vent. It fits securely into assemblies that include a ridge vent, supporting steady airflow in horizontal or sloped applications. Commonly installed below deck framing to complement a rooftop vent, it also works in systems using any roof vents.
- Supports Airflow Paths: Our batten vent fits securely on roofs or walls to maintain airflow and drainage behind roof and siding layers. It works with roof vent systems to allow air to travel through the vent channels. Corrugated plastic channels provide open space for smooth circulation in any roof vent assembly. Ideal for applications involving roof vents for houses and sloped areas with roof shingles.
- Fits Roof and Walls: Used behind siding or roofing layers, this batten vent supports airflow between materials for consistent ventilation. It supports intake and exhaust systems like the rooftop vent to maintain open channels. Offered in widths of 1 12 & 2 3/8", it easily adapts to work with roof vents. Compatible with vertical air channels and top-mounted top vent applications.
- Rigid Multi-Ply Build: Our roof vent is built from polyethylene plastic; this Strip vent stays in place behind roofing or siding without collapsing. It connects smoothly with core vent configurations for efficient vent channeling. Corrugated grooves help support airflow through framing spaces, such as those using batten strip spacing. Also useful in roofing systems requiring a fixed batten vent.
- Flexible Size Options: Standard size is 2ply build up that is 2-3/8 wide 3/8 thick 37 long, with multi-ply options for thicker applications. It works inside core vent systems where airflow paths must remain open. Cuttable on-site, it installs under siding or roof cedar shingles. Widely used in new construction or upgrades requiring structured roof vents.
