Seems like quality stuff that seals well and will last. The tape has major stick to the metal. The tape side against the foam needed to be smoothed down for better adhesion as I rolled it out but was not a problem to stay in place until the metal was screwed down. The quality and material density seem great.

Very breathable foam - his is what i was hoping .... I think this is going to work. Ordered to use at the ridge vent of a small shed where what I thought was a ridge vent .. is actually tar paper over the cut opening ->> it's not very vented at all. I think this is what I need to put between metal roof and rook decking to allow the roof to vent ...i may be wrong ..thinking after opening up the asphalt paper-to put this on each side on each side so that bugs and dust don't come in but air can exit .. I'm Still learning about this whole thing obviously . This foam is easy to push air through and I think I will help cool the shed alot better than thick asphalt paper..that is not venting anything .

This did a great job weathering around our Window air conditioner unit

I actually used this to weatherproof around a small Window atir conditioner unit we have in our bedroom and it worked out perfectly! Let me start by saying, before I installed this adhesive backed foam around our air conditioner, we kept getting a bunch of various bugs, mostly flies, in our home and as I was laying in bed looking at the Window air conditioner, I could see a small slit of sunlight which meant that it was very likely where the bugs were entering our home at. I decided to use this foam to seal the air conditioner better, and let's just say, no more bugs thank goodness! Lol. I know that's not what this foam was intended for, but it did such a great job sealing and it also sticks extremely well, I installed it a couple months ago and it isn't peeling up at all so the adhesive had a nice bond with staying power. It also feels so much cooler in our room so it's perfect for weatherizing around your home. The foam is nice and thick too and it was so easy to install.

Foam peels off

The foam separted from the adhesion tape almost immediately. Not much use anymore. Edit: Hardly 2 hours after my initial review, an entire piece peeled off and fell, as seen in the second and third photos.

I've ordered this product three times. The first time it arrived as described, 1.2 inches thick, good density. Second and third times it has been only one inch thick and less dense.
