I would have given a full set of 5 stars, but when I received the 2 bottles of shower gel, the bottle tops weren't sealed with tamper-proof plastic like all the others I have, and I have quite a few. Why is that? I don't want to be suspicious, but in this day and age, I have to be. The 2 bottles were packaged (plastic sealed) together, but I'm not sure Bath & Body Works themselves did that. I think that's by the seller. So, value for the money 5/5, but packaging was 3/5. And that gives an average of 4/5 stars. ... show more

    • Great Scent, But Bottles Need a Secure Seal For Leakage
This 2 pack of the Mahogany Teakwood 3‑in‑1 hair, face, and body wash comes in 2 10fl oz size bottles with a push cap. The bottles are a typical size you’d expect from this company. Upon opening, there was an immediate issue: the bottles didn’t have a seal, and one of the caps was slightly open, causing a small leak. Due to the leak I was immediately hit with a rich, woodsy scent that smells quite masculine. The wash itself works reasonably well on hair, body, and face, though ingredient wise it’s not perfect for any single use. On the body, it lathers nicely and cleans effectively, and the aloe and panthenol leave skin feeling a bit moisturized, though the fragrance and some of the surfactants could be drying for others with sensitive skin like mine. For hair, it cleans well and gives a slight conditioning effect, but it doesn’t detangle well or address scalp concerns like dryness or dandruff. On the face, it’s gentle enough for occasional use thanks to the aloe and glycerin, but the fragrance and other additives could also irritate sensitive skin. Overall, it’s a convenient all-in-one if you’re looking for the scent and a quick clean, but I wouldn’t rely on it as a replacement for dedicated facial cleansers or shampoos. As far as value I feel like this is a typical price and a good value if you need a 3-in-1 for travel.
