A great Amazon purchase for the home DIY'er or small project. Check out my quick video showing it in action, and please excuse my noisy children 🙃. This mixer is extremely well made, the finishes is solid and does not rust even after days in the wash bucket. Fits in my standard drill chuck, is just the right size and weight for it to handle, and simply works great every time. One note, don't run this on your battery power drill for more than a few minutes straight, but if working in small batches that shouldn't be an issue, hasn't been for me. I had an old gallon can (>1 year) of a VERY thick DryLok HD-9000 waterproofing paint. I opened the half-full can and found a massive blob on the surface. I tried to stir it but the blob could not be dissolved. Seeing that the can cost me more than $50, I decided to give this modestly priced stirrer a try. To my amazement, this mixer worked like a miracle. I attached it to my DeWalt cordless drill and within one minute of stirring, the blob was gone! I quickly learned, however, that the speed of the mixing had to be approached with caution. Once I cleaned up the paint spatter, I mixed for another 30 seconds or so. The paint magically returned to the creamy consistency I remember seeing when I first purchased the product. The clean up was a breeze. I just let the excess paint drip back into the can, used my paint brush to wipe up the remainder and finally, I held the business end of the stirrer under a stream of water. Voilà, the stirrer was returned to the condition of its first delivery. I read with curiosity the reviews of this stirrer being broken upon first use. I'm guessing that the product being mixed in those instances may have been beyond what this little contraption was designed to do or, perhaps, the speed of the mixer may have been too fast to accommodate the inherent inertia of the product being mixed. For me, with this very thick and dense waterproofing paint, this product was a godsend. ... show more

Got here damaged, semi flattened, needs to be replaced. Not a bad product, shipped with wrong stuff. Wrong packaged and maybe not quite sturdy enough.

Bent and twisted to completely unusable after trying to use it once. Went to my local small hardware store and bought a better one for a little more money. I was using this to mix clay slip.
