  • For Better and For Worse
Color: Titanium Silver Style Name: 12v Advanced Lithium XL (36+ Holes)
The honeymoon is over, and reality has set in. Like anything else, there are pros and cons to this cart. Let's make a list: +Light-weight, and very simple to assemble, even without the instructions (which were missing). The big wheels spring-clip on with ease, the two joints in the arm have big knobs, the battery straps on with Velcro, and the electrical connector aligns easily; push the pin through the anti-tip wheel and you're ready to rock. -You'll need to get proficient at this. In order to fold the arm flat, you need to remove the battery. To save hatchback/trunk space, you'll be removing the big wheels every time. There's no way to lock the arm in the folded position, so finding something to grab for lifting into/out of the car is challenging. +The battery is light and easy to handle, and the charger is small and efficient. No complaints here. +It comes with a USB port in the end of the handle, so you can charge your phone or GPS. -With the arm at a convenient height, the USB port faces somewhat upwards. The little rubber plug pops out every two minutes, so unless you're in the desert, this electrical connection is gonna get wet. Here in Western Washington, I'll be sealing mine shut. +Bag straps are quick, easy and secure. No negatives here. Although the description warns that stand bags may not fit properly, mine has a wide base that was well-supported. +The accessories work nicely. Bottle holder, covered scorecard rest, balls-n-tees compartment and umbrella holder are almost everything you could hope for. -A minor minus here: The umbrella holder needs to be bolted on. It's a little awkward, and having the big-knob'd bolt as a separate piece means that I'll be looking for 2 pieces in the bottom of the bag when the skies cut loose. Not a big concern, but maybe for the next version...? +The removable fourth wheel works well, and if you're going to use the remote control, make sure to put it on. The cart really is light, and it doesn't take much get the front wheel off of the ground. No issues with this feature. +"The Big Wheels Keep on Turnin'". The cart has good speed, uphill or down, and the big wheels do the driving. If you're a hands-on kinda driver and just want a little power-assist, the small speed-adjustment wheel is at your right index fingertip. I recommend hands-on if you're in a rough patch of ground (ruts, roots and weeds) or very wet conditions, because... -"The Big Wheels Keep on Turnin'". I guess it's a trade-off between weight and traction. You can't have the grip of big knobby tires without... big, heavy knobby tires. I didn't see the patch of mud while I remote-controlling until it was too late, so I had to walk back to fetch the cart. Which brings us to... +It has a remote. Push the appropriate button to make it go, turn or stop. -Yep, that's the sum-total of the positives for this feature. First of all, I was shocked to find 2-AAA batteries in the box. I would have bet that the USB port in the handle was going to double as the charger for the remote, but instead I'll be adding a package of Duracells to the bottom of my bag. Second of all, it would be really nice if the remote remembered what speed you were at when you pushed 'stop', but instead you start from scratch each time. It's 2-4 pushes to start rolling after each shot. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but... Third of all, that's 2-4 pushes AFTER you remember to turn it on, because you have to turn it off before you put it in your pocket with your tees and divot tool. I ordered a belt-clip that will adhere to the back of the remote (but not block the little panel that hides the AAA's). +It comes with a pretty decent warranty (2-years on the cart, 1-2 years on the battery). -As a condo-dweller, I don't have anywhere to store the original box and packing, so I may have voided my warranty when I trashed them. Just kidding (sort of), the warranty says they will ship parts when possible. If the cart needs to be returned, I can have a box shipped to me. That's all I have for you. From what I've seen, it's not a bad value when compared to the competition. There are flaws, but not enough of them to make me give up on it. After all, no one is perfect [except you, dear 8^D ] ... show more

  • Aligning the front wheel is not that easy.
Color: Phantom Black Style Name: 12v Standard Lithium (18+ Holes)
Bought this product in February of 2023, have now used it for all my golfing this year. Putting it together was very simple and it has been very sturdy and easy to use, it is also very light and folds up very easily to fit in the back of my Jeep. I have used it with and without the remote control, I highly recommend using the remote control. It is so much easier to use on the course. I am giving it an overall rating of 4 stars for the simple reason that it has a tendency to track to the left and the instructions on how to correct that really don't match what needs to be done. The instructions say that you need to move the front wheel to the right to correct this issue. However, in order to do that you need new spacer bars and shims that don't come with the caddy. I have chosen to just correct the path with the remote control. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys walking the course but does not want to push or pull a cart. Steve. ... show more

  • Sturdy frame and good performance

Very good remote control golf caddy. I give it a overall 4. Light weight solid metal frame, easy to fold for transport and responsive remote. What would make this caddy a solid 5 - 1. quieter wheel motors. 2. advanced hill electric braking and most of all gyro tracking / leveling to keep caddy straight on hilly courses. • Does Exactly What It's Supposed to
Color: Phantom Black Style Name: 12v Standard Lithium (18+ Holes)
Was rear-ended about four years ago. Even after two years of physical therapy my back is not the same. I can't push or pull a cart. With this, I can still play golf and not be in pain. Super easy to set up and easy to use. I've only played 18 with a full charge, but pretty confident I can get at least 9 more holes, if not 18 more. After a round I still have more than half the charge left. After doing research and reading reviews, this was by far the best bargain. If you're in the market for an electric cart, highly recommend. ... show more

The one suggestion I have (after one round of golf) is to come up with a way to attach the remote control to the Batcaddy. When you ready to hit a shot, you need a way to place the remote somewhere (other then your pocket), otherwise, you may lose it or brake it. My two cents

  • A great unit
Color: Arctic White Style Name: 12v Standard Lithium (18+ Holes)
This is a great unit for walking the golf course. I had a problem with one of the wheels after assembly. I contacted Batcaddy support and they made the exchange within 3 days. I would say they provided superior service for their product. I have no problem giving this group and product a high recommendation. ... show more
