This case is exactly as described. The color really does look like ash -- a light dove gray although the picture on my computer looked more white. It is very lightweight and does not add any thickness to the phone. The buttons are not covered, which is nice imo as many cases with button covers decrease the button sensitivity. I ultimately returned the case as I just didn't feel like it would provide adequate protection from a drop, especially on the corners as there is no additional corner bumper protection. I ultimately preferred a 2-layer case, but am giving this 5 stars since it is as described and others may prefer this lightweight design. ... show more

    • perfect low profile case for OnePlus 12

The OnePlus 12 is a very slippery phone. The back, in particular, really lacks any grip and, if anything, feels like it has some sort of high-tech nano-enhanced slipperiness. So it really needs some sort of case just to give some grippiness, if nothing else. But it's a big phone, and almost all cases are themselves big and make the phone + case combo unpleasantly large and bulky. I find that annoying, and I looked all over for a super low profile case that would 1) increase grip, 2) not trap a bunch of dust at the screen edges, and 3) maintain the profile and look of the phone without adding much bulk. Well, for me, this case checks all boxes. It's lightweight, it's super low profile, it's grippy, and it keeps the curved screen edges 'open' in a way that greatly reduces dust accumulation. Now, will it protect the phone as well as a huge, heavy armored case? No, of course it will not, but it will help a bit and, more importantly, it makes the phone much less slippery without dramatically changing its profile or size. I personally love this product and has seen myself using it almost everyday since I like to change out the cases depending on moods. I feel like the case is def a nice touch to the phone since it makes so much easier to hold, grab the phone with chic, minimalistic looking. I purchased this for my OnePlus 8T and when I upgraded, I purchased it for my 12. I was very happy with the original case. it lasted four years and I never had a problem. I am sure the same will be true for this one. Great price, super easy installation, previous versions were very durable.

    • A very good low profile phone case

This is not just any phone case for people who want an indestructible phone! This is a really awesome case for those who want to maintain the original form factor of their phone. It's super thin, only adding a few millimeters in size, and fits perfectly without any wiggling. The quality of the case seems top-notch; there are a few minor flaws on my case but they're hardly noticeable and don't impact the overall integrity of the case. The case provides a bit of protection for the screen around the top and bottom bezels, so placing your phone face down on a flat surface won't scratch the screen. If you add a glass screen protector, it will either be flush with or go beyond the edge of the case (though keep in mind that glass protectors may interfere with the fingerprint sensor). The sides of the screen aren't as well-protected, but that's common with phones that have curved edges. The case does a good job of safeguarding the camera and sensor array on the back of the phone, and there's space beneath the case for a glass lens protector if you want to add one. The material has a nice texture that makes it easier to grip your phone. Because of the texture, the case tends to attract fingerprints a bit, which might bother some people but doesn't bother me. I bought two cases, one in gray and one in emerald green, and noticed that the button cutouts on the sides were different. The gray case has open cutouts that allow easy access to the side buttons and slider switch on the One Plus 12. The green case, however, had more restrictive cutouts that made it a bit tricky to use the slider switch. Take a look at the pictures of the case you want to see which type of cutouts it has. I've had this phone case for a few months now, and overall, I'm really pleased with my purchase. If you're in need of a super slim, low-profile case for the One Plus 12, this is probably the perfect fit for you. ... show more
