To save some money I bought this clamp and at first I thought okay this looks decent. I used it four separate times in very limited uses. When I went to use it again the spring had popped off and I could not get the middle piece to stay in place. I've tried several times to put it back together and it's impossible. Now it's too late to return it. I agree with the other reviewer, spend the extra money and get a known brand that you see wood workers using.     • Nice and well built - good for assembly of wood projects.
I purchased this in order to assemble pocket hole joints and it is a welcome addition to my arsenal of clamps, corner clamps, and geegaws that I have pulled together to get my joints square and tight. It works like a vice-grip and could be easier to use (maybe the threads could allow for quicker adjustment, for example) and I will buy another in time. Good enough for my shop - if you have more to spend there are self-adjusting face clamps that are even easier to use. ... show more

    • Spend the extra money and get a better clamp.
Does what it's supposed to but you can tell that its poor quality. Pivoting pinch pads at each end of the jaws do not automatically flatten out when you close the clamp so you have to move them with your hand making this a three hands required tool. Don't buy.

I initially purchased this to use with my Kreg jig as it has a nice wide neck. I now use it for all my DIY that requires clamping - easily configurable for the right size and it clamps tight.

- Items shipped promptly and arrived as described. - My concern is that the clamping ends MAY be on the small side vs the other clamps which have a circular disk on the clamping ends, these are small square ends. - Only time and usage will tell how well these will hold and how long they will last. Bought this to hold my pocket hole jig. The first time I used it the spring flew across my back yard never to be seen again and the jaw just fell open (mine too). I replaced this one trick pony with a 12 in BESSEY bar clamp for about the same price. It has just as much jaw reach and so many other uses.     • Short on Functionality
I bought this to use with my Kreg tool set. It works, but nowhere as well as the Kreg version. It's not as easy to use and it lacks the reach of the Kreg tool. It does work, just not as well as desired.

I don't know how anyone can get excited about such a tool but I will say that the quality, appearance and function seem good. Only time will tell as I use it if the product works well use-to-use and stands up. For now I would recommend it. UPDATE: I have now used it and am thoroughly satisfied. I needed this in conjunction with a Kreg pocket hole jig and it worked perfectly and so much faster than when I used a screw-on type clamp. ... show more
