I play the saxophone but decided to try the bass guitar. I did not want to spend a lot of money because I was not sure and have never played a bass guitar. But this is an excellent starter bass guitar with amp. One of my friends who is a professional bass guitarist tried it and he said he can pull off a gig with it. The original bag is thin and not adequate so you will need to purchase a better bag. I also purchased a next strap and 1/4 cable. I am very happy right now and without regret.

It fits just about any size bass , as advertised and its cheap and waterproof and light. This also means do not handle it lightly and bending and warping the neck is something you should always be aware of when moving around your guitar in any case, hard or soft. Even sitting it down flat can slowly bend it out, inside a hot car. Do not keep your guitars in any case , locked inside the car , under any temperature. Just to be safe. But to carry to and from locations, in the wet, this soft gig bag, as its called, works great.

This bag fits a Squire J bass perfectly. Seems well made, decent materials. The zipper is smooth and it’s a better padded bag than I expected. Great protection for a bass just put away in a spare room!

Great little case to carry a bass around with. However, after only a few days of semi-consistent use, the bag has slightly ripped at the base of the neck, where there is a void created by a wing on my bass. I'm not chucking my own guitar around or anything, mind you; it's just sitting in the car during drives, and shouldn't be ripping, especially in that spot. Sort of disappointed, because otherwise this thing is a really nice value.
