Perhaps I should start by saying you won't be getting a pro grade pedal. However, for less than forty dollars, you're getting a double chain, responsive pedal that doesn't make any noticeable off sounds: squeaks, clanks or rattles. You can tell the machining of threads is a tad rough so I plan on running them out with a tap and die set. I just refurbished a 70s era Ludwig Speed King, and I still have a soft spot for its old school U.S. build quality. This pedal doesn't match that American hardware but it feels more responsive and I'm playing double beats with ease now. That being said, this is not the pedal you want for hard pro gigging and touring. All in all a very good value. ... show more

This is a solid pedal but it comes adjusted probably to fit in the box better. The way it's adjusted when you step on the pedal the spring tends to squeak which I expect lubrication would fix. When adjusted normal, no squeak. At first I thought it only came even to my drum and didn't attach, as it looked like one piece. The screw opens it up wide enough to attach the way it should. The action is great and adjustable. I expected to recieve a lot cheaper pedal as my good ones are somewhere in my storage and I prefer not to play by hand for a recording session. ... show more

I was surprised by the quality and the craftsmanship of this foot pedal. It even has a key attached to the base.I highly recommend this product and will purchase it again.

    • Very affordable and playable after adjustment
I switched to this after playing my pearl eliminator pedal and I was pleasantly surprised at how durable and smooth it feels. Only issue is, out of the box you will have to make a few adjustments to make it playable. Still a good pedal for such a low price.
