    • Great for little hands and saving money when school supply shopping
I received these 30 packs of Westcott 6" scissors just in time for school supply shopping. My children are ages 7 and up, and these have been perfect! The stainless-steel safety blades are sharp and have been working very well, cutting paper and cardboard for projects and homework assignments. The hard plastic handles have been comfortable enough and are the perfect size for long use and are easy to use for little hands. My kids were mostly excited to choose the color out of the four options available. The colors are pretty and bright, making them especially appealing to little kids. As a mom, buying school supplies in bulk is always a good idea, for the money saving value alone! ... show more

    • Great kids scissors
Its back to school time so I needed to stock up on our school supplies. I have young children and also help the school with supplies. I saw this 30 pack of Wescott children's scissors and immediately ordered. The box arrived and they were well packaged. Each scissor is individually wrapped. They are a perfect fit for small hands, and feel nice in the hand. These also feel very durable and are very easy to use. They do not stick. They open and close very easily. I will say that these are not as rounded at the end as most children's scissors, they are a bit pointy at the end, and they cut very easily so these would require supervision for small children. They come in 4 bright fun colors. Blue, Pink, Purple and Green. Great for boys and girls. For $1 each, these are a great value. These would be perfect for a school teacher, art class or for homeschooling. ... show more

I received Basix by Westcott 30-Pack of 6" Kids Scissors for Students Ages 8+, for School and Craft Projects, Back to School Supplies for Big Kids, Hard-Touch Handles in Assorted Colors as Shown which comes with four colors, blue, green, pink, and purple. As expected, these have metal blades which easily cut paper and wouldn't be appropriate for children to use unsupervised at a young age. I am using them with close supervision for a 4 year old but will not leave him alone with them. The product is currently selling for $1/pair which is an incredible value. Each pair feels sturdy and I could see these being great for a teacher who needs to have plenty for a classroom full of students. The scissors cut through paper with ease leaving a smooth line and no ripping like some scissors intended for a younger audience. These also offer some versatility of having small scissors for things like a sewing kit or maybe a first aid kit (although obviously not sterile for first aid situations needing sterility). ... show more
