Smells like nothing, but my skin so smooth. Bought some junk that claimed to be good for the skin but made it worst. Used it for almost 2 months and had to move on to something new, this is new. This new soap showed results within days of the purchase date. I'd rate it a higher star but amazon just won't let me cum on here and give it another star that it deserves from me. The price is unbeatable, you get 6 that feels for the price of one, one bar that lasts longer than a month, I use this bar on repeat everytime I go cleanse and clean myself in the shower. Not just for the body but my hair feels thicker too, I dropped my shampoo and used it for that too. 2 in 1, this just might be it, the one. I've never felt so good for something that smelled like nothing, I guess when you want nothing more than nothing it becomes golden. My face less oily and and I can feel it lasting longer than a man that only rocks for a minute. The ingredients proves that I can believe in soap again. But then again, why am I so like this over a bar of soap. It's just a soap, a soap filled with hope when the lather makes me feeling new, I knew time was of the essence when I sensed the change in time, got me rhyming the rhythm as I get rid of the grime that has stained me through out the day. I once thought this soap was only for faces. Then, I got lazy and started using it as my regular bar soap. Turns out, being lazy paid dividends 10x over ... because this soap is excellent as a one-bar for all solution. The thing is; Most of us have sensitive skin, whether we know it or not. I get minor irritations from fragrances in soaps, harsh detergents, and a variety of allergy-induced issues. This soap removes most of those issues from the scene since it's gentle, fragrance-free, and doesn't over-degrease your skin. And yeah, I'm a dude ... but I'm a dude who cares about the largest and most important organ in my body (i.e., skin). Over-cleaning skin causes problems. Under-cleaning skin causes problems. Over-fragranced soaps cause problems. But this one doesn't. It's also rightly priced, which is weird in today's marketplace. Soaps are surprisingly personal, but I've found that this one leaves my skin cleanest, healthiest, and doesn't over-dry my skin, as some heavier detergent-laced soaps can. I live by these bars, and since they're not reliably available in my area, I'm glad that I can get a large pack like this from Amazon. Definitely recommend this to anyone who finds other soaps to be over-drying, or who is prone to allergies or rashes. Perfect for face and body.

I have sensitive, combination skin. I try to avoid soaps with fragrance because they can be more irritating. This soap is fine, not ultra-moisturizing. Kinda leaves that tight feeling on the skin like many other soaps, but it isn't nearly as bad. While unscented, it creates a weird smell when I use it on my body? Not horrible, but strange, and that may just be a personal issue lol. Good at removing makeup! Gentle enough to use on my piercing holes too (I stretch my ears and gently clean with soap in the shower).

I have been a long time user of Doves Sensitive Body wash… I’m talking 15+ years. I’m a Puerto Rican 35 yo female and over the past few years of use, I found that when the dove sensitive formula changed, my body did not respond well. However, it was the best thing that I found to reduce any type of skin reaction, (itchy/dryness). But this Basics Soap!!!!! After the first use, I knew it was great. Not only does it moisturize, but it doesn’t leave my skin tight, itchy or dry. And it doesn’t irritate the most sensitive areas! Do yourself a favor child, Stop looking for soap and start buying this! The bar itself has a light scent, but the “scent“ doesn’t leave any smell on my skin.
