Love this cast net. Saved me at least $10.00 in paying for minnows from bait store. Its been 2 years since using a larger cast net in FL, but quickly got back in the groove. I’ve cast netted for over 40 years, this is the worst cast net ever. Weights corrode easily, difficult to throw, easily tangles. Look elsewhere for a quality net.

The net is very heavy, though with 1/4" mesh I expected that. The 1/4" mesh is the game changer compared to my last several nets with 3/8" and 1/2" mesh. It makes cleaning the bait out of the net soooooo much easier. I have used it twice now and both times I was amazed with how difficult it is to throw, but how easy it was to empty the bait made this net more than worth it.
