  • Disappointed in price for what we received
Style: 7.5' - Springdale
For the value should be stronger. There were a few scratches on the table and the plastic ball racket was broke in too

  • Great Table, Delivery not so much
Style: 8.5' - Arlington Slate-Tech
This was purchased as a birthday gift for my husband. We are happy with the table! It is very heavy and took 4 people to set it upright after assembly, primarily due to the weight and to protect the legs. Took about 2 1/2 hours to assemble. However, be aware that the carrier did not bring the table inside to the desired location although the “how to prepare for delivery” indicated that it would be brought inside. I did not purchase the professional assembly package and would have if I knew it was needed to get the table brought inside (while in the box). Had I known the carrier would not bring it inside as stated in the information, I would have had adequate people to assist with bringing it inside. I had to call people and wait on them to come put it inside as my husband and I were not able to move it. ... show more

  • It is good enough
Style: 7.5' - Springdale
The box had significant damage on the outside, but no damage inside, so that was a good start. I had a few issues with the assembly. First, and least important, the decorative plastic leg shrouds do not connect well. The screws easily tear through the plastic, and the instructions say to put the foot mount on after the plastic leg shrouds, but doing so puts so much pressure on the plastic that one of them broke slightly. It should be done in the other order. Having said that, I can always just glue the shrouds, so this isn't a huge deal. Speaking of the foot mount, one of them had holes that didn't line up with the metal, so I had to re-drill to get it on. Finally, the most time-consuming part was bolting the table to the base, which was difficult because the holes didn't line up well. I think there were 18 bolts, and it took quite a lot of screwing/unscrewing and jamming the table back and forth to get them all in. I think it took me three hours to assemble, but without those extra problems it would have been about two hours. I was able to assemble it myself without help, but it is very heavy, so I would recommend a second person to help put on the top. As for play, I had some difficulty leveling it, and the rails are fairly dead in spots, but it is good enough to enjoy. I have only had it for a week at this point. ... show more

  • 100" Barrington - excellent for the price
Style: 8.5' - Arlington
I have definitely never written such a long review before, but here is some info I hope you will find useful: I always wanted a pool table in my house, and decided this was the year. I looked at many options, including used. You can generally go with a slate table or wood. Slate tables can be $5000 or more, and I wasn't ready for that. Even a used slate table is going to cost you $2000 or more just to move it. Lastly, slate tables need to be professionally installed (big bucks), where a wood table like this one can be put together pretty easily, since the top (felt & bumpers) is pre-assembled. Some day I will graduate to a slate table, but this was the best choice for me now. The table looks great, plays pretty true (still getting the hang of leveling it), and feels completely sturdy. As others have noted, the two included cues are pretty basic, so eventually treat yourself to a couple nicer ones. Comes with set of balls, 8-ball triangle, and chalk, all fine. 100" is big, and you will need a large space. Figure 17' x 13' minimum, or you will be banging the cue stick into walls constantly. Shipping: I was happy with the shipping through NSD (not sure who you'll get). They changed my chosen time slot, but same day. It's one huge box, and it is extremely well packaged. It would take a lot to damage the actual table. Delivery guys placed the box inside my front door. Assembly: Since it is so well protected in the packaging, getting it out was half the battle. You will be cleaning up bits of styrofoam from your house/business for weeks. Instructions are pretty clear, and I completed the base in about 2 hours by myself. The next part is lifting the top onto the base and lining up the holes for the final screws. I recommend at least 3 strong guys for this step. Overall, I am so happy with this table. Definitely five stars for the price. The price fluctuates on this site and wayfair, but I got it here on amazon for $1000. If you are looking for a high end professional pool table, this may not be for you. For $1000 and my first table, I couldn't be any happier. ... show more

  • 90 In' Springsdale Barrington Pool Table LONG and FAIR review
Style: 7.5' - Springdale
Two man job to build at least, easily takes 2 - 3 1/2 hours if you don't know what you're doing and 1 1/2 - 2 hours if you do. Not all the holes align to a perfect fit when drilling and I was missing a few screws but yeah I expected it, and yes you'll need a power drill for this, you can't just power through with share force from your wrist to forearms, you'll hate yourself if you do it by hand and the trusty ol' screwdriver. Aside from the table It comes with 2 starter sample cues about 17-18 ounces, a brush and a whole cue ball set with 2 chalks. It's 88 in' WITH the frame included in measurement and about 78 in' on the playing area of the table. You better adjust the table to it's upmost even state cause if you have help building this and they're gone and it's uneven good luck realigning the table so the balls don't roll to one side by yourself. I recommend scrapping the brush and two sample cue sticks cause the brush sucks and the cues you'll outgrow almost immediately, the cue ball set and chalks are decent at best. Get a new brush and stick and this table will feel a lot better while cleaning and playing on it. It doesn't come with table covers to shield it when you sleep or MIA from the table so i recommend getting that. Don't expect to pull any english spins or cuts when shooting cause maybe my skills are trash but i can't seem to pull it off on this table no matter how hard i try, the felt on the table is kinda restrictive with it's traction but it's okay. The pockets are a little wider than normal so it's not that hard to pocket anything in. Overall for the price, it's not bad at all, you just gotta swap some of it's complimentary accessories and you'll be okay. It's definitely not the best table but it's far from bad either, it's kinda just neutral for those who just started playing. This table is NOT for competitive players you'll be sorta upset. ... show more
