These are pretty thin and lightweight and I sort of understand the reviews that said these are too expensive for what you get, but you won't find anything like this cheaper. The ones I've found are way more expensive, but the expensive ones are also heavier and would require hanging on a stud - these don't. They are very lite but don't appear to be. I LOVE this look and it goes perfect with my other rustic decor. These provide exactly the look and vibe that I was wanting for way cheaper than anything else I could find. Mine also came with a few small holes like some reviewers mentioned but they don't detract from the appearance one bit and turned out to not even be visible once I hung them up. I love these!!! Umm... obsessed. Looked all over for barn shutters like these to hang on the wall across from the stairs (that long blank wall that nobody seems to know what to do with- the wall straight ahead when you’re going down the stairs), and the ones I’ve found were either the wrong size (too big), or had to be custom made for a ridiculously expensive price. I am really handy and was set to just suck it up and make them myself, and then stumbled upon these. The size is perfect for that space (the goal was to give the illusion of a barn “loft” as you walked down the stairway), and the wood is gorgeous! It’s much more gray than the picture shows, which I am thrilled about because my entire living room is very gray-brown and whatever wood is darker is so much darker that the contrast is beautiful. They came with the hangers attached, so I’m going to hang them this weekend. Pics here are of them before hanging, but I’ll update after. The price was fantastic, and they came packed nicely and safely. ... show more

These shutters are a perfect home interior piece for someone wanting that rustic look. They are the perfect size and not heavy at all. I love mine. I didnt have a updated picture of the finished project...but I put a old window in between the shutters and put chicken wire behind that. It turned out exactly like I wanted it to be. ... show more

After reading the mixed reviews for this product, I decided to take a chance in ordering them. I was very disappointed when I opened the box to find very thin pieces of wood that presented as cheaply made shutters. I would put a price point of about $20 for these, and I still feel that would be a generous amount. I can not stress enough that these shutters do not reflect the price point that is being asked for them. Upon filling out the return, I learned that I will need to pay return shipping of $6.60, which I honestly don't mind given the extreme poor quality of these. ... show more

This is the 2nd time ordering these shutters. The first set was much closer to what the picture showed. A little pricy but I really enjoy them. This set is sold black. Looks bad. Construction is bad and I think I paid more for these. Very disappointed

I love how these look! They are grey and brown than just brown which I like personally. I thought they would be thicker and heavier for the price. It is nice that they are light though for hanging. Their lightness also makes them feel kind of fragile but they are heavily reinforced in the back. They look so good in my house. I love this company’s products! ... show more
