    • Missing the Key
I'm on an HOA board and was looking for shutter samples to provide approved paint colors for our neighborhood. These did the trick although they were provided as single, plastic samples without the "key" that matches numbers on each sample with the actual color name. I see several reviews where someone states they can't find the color and this is probably why.     • Not what I was expecting
I can’t believe I paid for this. It wasn’t helpful because the samples are so small. I should have gone somewhere where they sell shutters and gotten this for free. My daughter uses it for a toy, so I didn’t return it.

My wife (who never reads my reviews here) has no concept of colors and we need new shutters. I was appalled by some of her suggestions as they would certainly clash with siding, brick and roof but you know if you know what I mean. Came across these and ordered them for a couple bucks (USD for you others) and now she can look and I can reject much more easily. Amazing how this solves old problems.     • Improved appearance of our house
These shutters are lighter weight but they really brightened up the face of our house. They can be self installed. On a brick house, a heavy duty drill is required. We will see how they hold up during hurricane season. We are pleased with the overall appearance.

I wanted to buy shutters from a new home and because the home has orange brick on it, I didn't want to purchase a color that would clash and I didn't want just black shutters. After calling the manufacturer about the colors, I was clued into this color wheel. For as little as it cost, it was truly a no brainer in making my decision. This should be a link or note on every single shutter listed on this site so that people don't have to worry about whether they are ordering the right color (or not having to order two colors to decide between) ... show more

Very helpful! Not only to see the colors-- but also each piece has the 'louver look' on one side and the 'raised panel' look on the other side. A person can walk far enough from the front of their house, to hold up the sample and see what the color and style will look like on the side of a window.
