This ventilation mask comes in a black canvas drawstring bag with a pack of 2 pink air filters, 2 clear plastic mask covers, and a pair of ear plugs. As far as I can tell, the air filters work fine, though it is tricky to predict how long they would last since every work environment's air quality will be unique. The ear plugs are alright, assuming they are worn correctly and fit properly. The plastic mask covers would work to protect the mask from minor scratches and dirt, etc. Though, again, it is very tricky to predict how they will respond to every possible environment. For example, maybe some chemicals or dust would make it less able to stay attached properly. I don't know. I'm not an expert. Just saying be aware of the environments this mask and the covers are used in, as it could affect it's overall stickiness, etc. I prefer the mask without them anyways, but that's just my own preference. The mask itself is large, with a "roomy" interior. There are several thick rubber straps and buckles for size adjustments and to secure the mask in place. These straps are easy to adjust, having a ribbing on them that works like zip ties, but much less permanent. There is a thick rubber edging seal around the outer edge of where the mask should meet the face. It does create a very good seal, so long as the mask is positioned correctly, and is fitted properly, with the straps pulled tight enough. The mask by itself, with no cover, is clear and easy to see through. So far, I did not experience fogging, which is what usually happens when I try to use basic safety goggles while doing certain crafting activities. That don't mean they would never fog, but at least they appear to be resistant to fogging. It took some getting used to after putting this mask on for the first time. Aside from the slight smell of new rubber, it's not difficult to breathe in at all. But because it does feel a bit different, some people who are new users might find themselves noticing that difference more, and maybe even feeling a bit off about it. But assuming your mask and filters are not damaged, then your air flow is not restricted. It's just different. But if you have any questions or concerns about the air flow, or how the filters work, contact the product seller and/or manufacturer, and maybe your doctor too. I am not a doctor or an expert on masks. Overall, I like this mask. It keeps my air clean and much safer around my crafting substances, and it keeps dust out of my eyes. Not gonna keep that stuff off every other part of you, though, so you may still need a suit, depending on what you're doing. This mask is very well made from good materials. While not indestructable, it does appear to me to be durable within reason. Under normal and intended use, and minus any mishap damage, this mask should last a long time.     • Great fitting full face mask
I picked up this mask because it was a full-face mask that included the filters at a great price. I saw it had good reviews and figured that if it didn’t fit me comfortably, the price was low enough that I would consider this mask a disposable mask, but save the filters… Haha. However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the comfortable fit and how good the silicone seal felt on my face. There are actually two silicone seals that function on this mask. One seal for around your nose and mouth, and the other larger one for around the perimeter of your face. Now, I’m not new to full face respirators, I spent decades in the shipyard wearing a huge variety of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and respirator masks were the primary equipment (next to safety glasses and gloves). I find the four pull tab adjustments on this mask make it very easy to secure snuggly to my face. The pull tabs were very easy to work and seemed to hold the mask tightly to my face without coming loose within the first 20 minutes or so… That’s the length of time I tested this mask currently. The real test will be when I spend hours painting one of my cars, will it stay snug? will the face shield stay clear? and will the mask still feel really comfortable? I will update my review when that day arrives. There is very little visibility obstruction from this mask and I had no fog or moisture buildup inside on the face shield. Of course, it was also really easy to breathe through the filters, they are brand new… so, be sure to remove the filters when done using the mask and put them in a Ziplock bag that seals really well to preserve the integrity and longevity of the filters. If you have an extra large Ziplock bag that the whole mask can fit into… there ya go, toss her inside the bag. The mask comes with two additional face shield protective clear covers. Put one on and let it take all the scratches and dings… remove it and install the other to take the abuse of heavy use… when you no longer can see through the face shield clearly, remove that second clear protective lens, and now you are left with just the main face shield of the mask. Those two clear protective lenses just extended the life/usage of this face mask by (my best guess) 200%. Oh, I forgot to mention the extra bonus they threw in the box… A pair of “nose plugs” on a small rope, Haha! Just kidding, they are earplugs. Anyway, this full-face mask gets two thumbs up, 5 stars out of 5, Facemask of the year… you get the picture. I recommend it, especially at its great low price. ... show more
