I'm early fifties, and this is the first time I've tried Bare Minerals foundation. I have a BM bronzer that I like well enough, but it just never occurred to me to try the powder foundation. I guess I thought it'd just be like putting powder on your face and I figured it'd just be blah. I've tried Laura Gellar and Neutrogena mineral foundations and hated them. Laura Gellar was insanely cakey and Neutrogena was just basically cheap powder (plus it's not cruelty free). All of my liquid foundations just sit like a mask on my skin now, no matter how much I blend. I hate them, and I hate how old they make me look. I decided to try this. OMG. My skin looks absolutely amazing and I'm not exaggerating when I say it took a decade off my face. And it looks BETTER as the day goes on!! HOW!?! I have no idea how it provides such a radiant, translucent, yet effective glowy coverage. It's not matte, it's not shiny, it's just like perfect skin! My SUN SPOT on my cheek that I have to spackle with concealer pretty much buffed out under this stuff. And you can build it on one part of your face without it looking uneven on another part. I put cream blush over it and I'm telling you, it is flawless. It is absolutely AMAZING. I just bought a light color to put on areas where I'd like a lighter tone (eyes & under eyes, nasolabial folds, 11s, around lips, etc). I ended up throwing away a whole bunch of makeup and will just be using BM from now on. THANK YOU Bare Minerals!! Can't wait to try the eyeshadow and blushes!

I have been using this foundation since 2021 based on a recommendation from my dermatologist for my acne prone, oily skin in my mid thirties! It is PERFECT! It doesn’t clog my pores, creates a matte finish on my oily skin while maintaining a very natural look! It is easy to apply with a brush (I prefer Elf’s powder brush) and lasts a long time!

I like the way this powder covers naturally and provides the coverage I want, from light to medium, based on how much I use. I can put on a light amount for a natural look, or add another application for fuller coverage without it looking caked on.

It seems different than the original powder I bought at macys. This one is more dry, more matte. Original seemed to be fiber and had some sheen to it. Still gives good coverage but seems a bit different quality

Perfect loose face cover powder. Color is the correct version. Container has a screw off cap that you can put the loose powder in and blend other color variations with it for a perfect color match in tanning season. Or of u want to add a sun-kissed look. The inner container can open and close to keep powder contained. Travels well and doesn’t spill loose powder. It’s not moist but it doesn’t cake 🍰 n your skin at all. And if you use with a finish facial spray or oil it stays on your face with a dewy look. Doesn’t clog pores and looks very natural.

I love bare minerals. Why I left it I have no idea. I use the light and fairly light (numbers 01 and 05) with the light used as highlights, because I’m older and way past the shiny, glittery kinda of makeup and highlighters. This lasts a long time, doesn’t settle into lives, has no irritating effect and the value for the money says the rest. My skin looks natural which makes me have a younger, natural look instead of a different color on my face from trying to cover up things (which doesn’t work for me). A little goes a long wag and it’s buildable if you need more coverage. No redness comes through, or blemishes, and with the little ‘pot of gold’ in the bisque, my face is done in nothing flat. I use the blush and eye makeup too. My face feels like I just had to dab a little powder and blush, some lipstick, eyes and of course eyebrows but I feel like naked skin. Nothing sticky on my face, nothing heavy. Just fresh and light. Bare minerals hit homers with their products. Absolutely love it. No fuss, no mess, no liquid anything. Just clean, fresh, natural. Autoship is the way to go with this, and no worries about having to reorder because it’s in the way and here by the time I need it.
