This is a great light weight, really soft yet warm comforter. It comes vaccum sealed but included in the packaging are clear instructions for fluffing it up. It works and I didn't even use a tennis ball! I found it a little more on the brownish side than taupe, but it would have worked and I would have kept it were it not that the wrinkles did not come out enough for me. I've purchased bedding from Bare Home before and was not disappointed. This time, the brand delighted me after I spent several frustrating weeks searching for a full size comforter for our platform bed. Every manufacturer seems to think that Full/Queen is what we want. That size does not work with a platform bed if you want the comforter to cover only the mattress and leave the bed frame to show. So, thank you, Bare Home for providing more options to people like me. As for the comforter itself, it's very soft, the taupe color is beautiful and the size is exactly right. There is a little puckering in one of the seams but it's not a deal breaker and the price couldn't be more affordable. The comforter washes and dries well, fluffs up nicely and our bed now looks beautifully made every day. ... show more

First, the comforter arrived vacuum sealed but, when we opened it, it did fluff up. It’s a “summer” comforter - light and just enough for a cool night. We’ll add a fleece blanket to it for cold, winter nights. Second, we wanted navy blue and it is definitely royal blue. Much brighter than we thought. I am adding photos to this review. However, after putting it on our bed with other gray and beige colors, we decided to keep it because it adds a pop of color. But know it’s royal blue! I do highly recommend this comforter because the quality is very good! We washed it in cold water and put it in the dryer on warm. It became even more silky feeling and softer.
