Cool, crisp, cotton sheets feel clean and comfortable as I slip in to rest from the day. These Percale (whatever that means) is my comfort key! There are so many choices out there today. High Thread Count, Sateen Weave, Mercerized, and many more that the choices get confusing. This set has performed flawlessly for well over a year through washings, bleaching & all the handling to accommodate the deed. No visible wear, lies flat, no wrinkles and still the crisp feel of Percale. I’m disappointed that I come back to buy more and they’re “unavailable”. I may just wait. We must tell Amazon & other shoppers about the Good products we bought! It’s been my experience that Amazon sells FAR TOO MUCH that is downright junk. Sorry. It needs to be said. Why do we put up with junk arriving at our door? If we send it back, they load returns on pallet and sell those pallets to the highest bidder! Is this the modern way of doing business? Selling inferior products made with no quality control and just turning a blind eye to correcting the errors? As the Consumer, we have the power - our pocketbook! Shop smart. Be critical! At first when I received this package I thought I had received the wrong color. It comes in a kind of thick paper bag envelope, but I guess I was looking at the reusable tote bag they include (which is grey and has sheet set inside it). So these sheets are paper thin, they’re very comfortable, definitely not worth the money I paid-which were on sale under $100.00, (but I will give it some allowance of my thoughts since it is organic and more costly to produce). I got the Bering Sea color and it is gorgeous; prettier than the photo on amazon, looks more blue than teal. The sheets are not soft, but that was too be expected. I like the fact that they are more crisp when first getting them; I think crisp sheets show quality in the material and threads used. They cover my king size mattress completely and I am even able to shove about 2 inches in on all sides. I don't believe they have shrunk at all during washing and drying. My best guess is that there probably about 200-300 thread count, Im used to 600 to 800 thread count sheet sets. I wanted to give this product 3 stars originally because these sheets are so thin but the quality is exceptional so I need to give the product some justice in the review.

Love these sheets. They are the only sheets I have bought that actually stay on my queen mattress. We don't have to keep putting them back on after we wake up each morning. Oh, and they are cool because we don't feel like we wake up drenched in our own sweat from being so hot.

I really liked these when I first got them. Or to be more accurate, I liked the idea of them. I had a 20-year- old percale sheet set that was soft and comfortable. As others have described, this one is thin and crispy like tissue paper that you'd use for wrapping a present. Breathable? No. At first I thought it was just me, because I was sweating every time I used it. Then I changed sheets and didn't sweat at all. Now it sits in the back of my cupboard. Maybe my kid will use it for her ghost costume next year

I purchased these sheets after a LONG couple weeks of researching the best cooling sheets on the market. I learned about bamboo being plastic, sateen weave being too warm, I mean I learned about it all. I finally found out that percale sheets are the place to be. These sheets from Bare Home were affordable and had the perfect color for my bedroom, dusty purple. I was a little nervous, because many reviews said they are scratchy and noisy. I opened them and my husband and I agreed they were NOT too scratchy, but we soaked them in an Epsom salt bath for 5 hours to be safe and used a vinegar rinse. While yeah, they do make a bit of "noise" (unwanted sound) it's nothing too serious, it won't wake you up or keep you up. And they do sleep cool, very cool. My husand is a hot sleeper who is constantly miserable and he loves these sheets. They are certainly great quality and for about $100 for the Split King set, I'm not complaining. The color is to die for. Somehow they took a medium/dark purple and added "gray haze" to it, creating a color called Dusty Purple which I'm in LOVE WITH. Buy these sheets, you won't be sorry!

Pitched after one night’s use! These are a beautiful dusty rose color- exactly as pictured. However, the fabric isn’t the crisp hotel Percale of other sheets I’ve had in the past. crisp, yes, which I felt when I took them out of the packaging. But percale is also typically soft. These are just plain scratchy- The texture is especially obvious on my face - which felt like it was lying on sandpaper. Would not recommend. (I did also wash them before use, with fabric softener, so it doesn’t seem that a good washing makes them softer).
