I purchased this as a gift for a young girl and it was a hit. It does have very small pieces (the eggs and chicks) but other then that everything is standard. I bought this not knowing how it worked or what all came with it. I think it's a great value for the money and was very happy with the entertainment that it provided. You feed the eggs into the chute above the chicken and then when you push the chicken forward the eggs come down the chute. It also came with play-dough to wrap chicks and make it seem like they are in eggs. The egg mold is on the other side of the hatching chicken and was easy to use. I didn't like how the eggs turned out and it was kind of hard to get them out of the mold, making them look even more weird. It also came with another dough to use in the trough to make grass for the cow to eat. This was fun as well but was kind of hard because the dough tended to slide to the sides when you pressed the mold down. Of course at our house these two doughs were quickly mixed made a mess and were left to dry out. It was nice because that party of the toy were able to just get rid of. We have purchased lots of Barbie sets in the past but this was really fun and we were so happy with all the fun pieces that it came with. ... show more

Purchased this as a gift. She loved it and it is super cute! I will say there are some TINY parts I would NOT purchase this for toddlers or kids with little siblings.

We got this barbie toy for our 4 year old daughter and she loves it. This barbie comes with many different pieces such as eggs, chickens, shovel, apples and lots more. Thus toy will keep your child occupied for hours. Your child can imagine hatching her own chick's from the playdough eggs or caring for the cow that comes with it. Or even using the playdough to make food for the cow to eat. There's so many different options your little one can create. It's very easy to use the playdough molds. Our 4 year old daughter had no problem doing them. The only bad thing is that the eggs that come with this and the chick's are both quite small so if you have a younger child or a children with younger siblings you may want to stay clear of this toy. A younger child could easily swallow one of the eggs or chick's. Our child is quite mature for her age so we felt comfortable getting her this but I would recommend this toy for the ages of 6 and up. Overall though our daughter does really enjoy this toy and it's made of good materials so it looks like it should last her awhile. ... show more

My daughter loves this set! She loves the ability to make the grass for the calf and how the eggs drop through the tubes. We have chickens and she loves that her Barbie’s now have chickens. 🐔 totally worth it!! This is a Barbie loving house and this is one of the favs!
