These chairs are surprisingly cushioned. The fabric is nice and doesn't seem to damage easily, though if your kid touches it with their greasy hands it does show. They wobble, a LOT. But my toddler can climb in an out just fine and they haven't tipped yet. I bought four, and use two with no arm rest so they fit better at the counter. The height adjustment isn't a very big range, and it can be hard to reach the lever, but they sit nicely at the counter and the arms can fit under if we want to slide them in. They were very easy to put together and they glide up and down smoothly. They do feel sturdy enough when you're actually on them. The only reason for not giving these a 5 star. I am a little concerned about the overall rugged aspect. Doubt it would take a very heavy person. Wonder if it would survive heavy use by kids over time. Only 4 small machine bolts holding the seat pan to the base is concerning. The mount itself is only 5" in diameter. Ample room for a larger mount and 8 bolts. On looks alone its very nice, time will tell the rest. ... show more
