I saw this swivel bar stool online and thought it would be an ideal solution to my restaurant bar stool problem, but it wasn’t as satisfying as it was in actual use. It looks modern, but the texture is far from the leather upholstery described, giving it a cheap feel. It comes with a backrest and footrest, but I found the backrest to be unsupportive and uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time. The adjustment range is very limited and cannot meet the needs of different heights, which makes me a little disappointed.

Overall, the build quality is better than most I've seen on Amazon. The base is very heavy and very stable. My only complaint is that the description says it's genuine leather, which is the main reason I purchased it. The seat is made of polyurethane "leather".

Orange is my new favorite color. I love this stool. It is high end and looks so expensive. It Goes so good with my mid century modern/retro vibe. It was easy to assemble took me no time at all I love the quality of the fabric and shine of the chrome. I need to order another so that I have a set.

This gets 3-stars because it is advertised as a genuine leather stool, and it is absolutely not that-- this isn't just fake/PU leather, it is SINKY chemical-smelling plasticy nonsense. Looks fine, smells awful, desperately needed to be sponge-washed with soap to help speed up the off-gassing. It assembled fine in minutes, and works as advertised-- it is functional and a sleek/modern/minimalist design. The "back rest" barely comes above waist of my pants when I'm sitting in it, so this is just a SUPER low-profile lumbar cushion, more for looks than actual support--- this is a style piece, not a really functional bar-stool. If you're going to be spending a lot of time sitting at your bar, get something with proper back support. If this is just for looks, have a blast.
