  • Easy to assemble, sturdy, too shallow (24" for the 60" wide desk)
Style: Wooden Top Size: 60"×24" Color: Rustic Brown
I was on the fence between the 60"x24" and the 55"x28". I was currently using a (very sturdy) folding table for my personal and work computers (set up during the early stages of the pandemic!) and it was 60"x30" deep. I knew I liked the size but also THOUGHT I didn't need that much depth for my computer (an HP all-in-one with 34" curved monitor). I went back and forth as I also have a docking station and a 24" monitor for my work laptop and have them side-by-side on my "desk" and it worked really well - I could do my personal stuff and then switch to my work laptop easily in the evenings. (I work too much!) I decided that the width was much more important to me than the depth of the desk so I could accommodate both computers/monitors and went with the 60" desk. My all-in-one doesn't have the up/down ability of most monitors and was always a little too low so the extra shelf was really attractive to me as it would raise it. I am not sure if I regret it or not yet. I like the desk - it was easy to assemble and is sturdy enough. (It wobbles a bit when elevated but it's not an expensive workplace desk so I'm OK with that - I don't feel even remotely like it could collapse or be dangerous.) I used the wheels and so at the lowest setting it's really too tall for me (I'm 5'4") even with my chair extended to full height. I'll likely replace the wheels with the feet as I don't really plan to move it anyway. (I love the wheel option but knew I probably wouldn't use them much.) I also bought a walking pad to use under the desk and so currently I have the setting at lowest 1 (chair), 2 for just standing and 3 for standing on walking pad. Four is just as high as it will go as I didn't need another setting. The desk works really well for the walking pad - it adjusts however you need and I like having the rear shelf for my computer as it was too low on the desktop before (but a little too high now since the desk doesn't lower enough with the wheels on!). The motor works well and is smooth and not loud at all. Assembly was easy following the directions. My 11 year old helped me and it took less than 2 hours and would have been MUCH faster by myself or with another adult as I was showing her how to use the tools, explaining the manual, etc. My main issue is that I'm sitting too close for my very wide monitor! I have to turn my head back and forth to see the entire thing and I am sure it would be similar if you have a dual-monitor setup. Sitting back far enough for the wide monitor means I have to pull the keyboard to the very edge of the desk and therefore I'm not resting my wrists on the desk and they're hanging off the edge. Maybe that's OK? Not sure - I'm looking for an ergonomic solution. Maybe a pull-out keyboard is right for me as that would lower the keyboard with the wheels on (but the monitor is still a little too high - take with a grain of salt as my all-in-one has essentially no monitor up/down ability!) and a keyboard tray would allow me to sit further back? Seems crazy to need a keyboard tray mounted under a MOVING desk, though! Enjoying the desk overall but would love a few more inches of depth on the 60" wide desk. ... show more

  • Sturdy and turning out well for working at home
Style: Glass Top Size: 48"×26" Color: Black Walnut
There are a lot of options for sit/stand desks and I'm pretty happy with my choice. I knew it would be sturdy given how heavy the box was. Like me, you might end up unpacking it just inside the door and carrying the individual pieces to where you plan to assemble it. I wouldn't call assembly easy, but it wasn't exactly difficult. You may struggle with the weight at certain stages and need to be pretty good at following and figurin out instructions. At one point you need to prop the table up to work on the bottom, I think I used some books. It was pretty obvious that it was going together correctly, at least. It's not fancy, the two 'drawers' are basically fabric baskets and the trim overall is pretty basic. But it's clean and neat and very functional. Depending on what you need it for, you may need some additional workspace because all you have room for is a keyboard and mouse and a notepad. It's very sturdy, I don't hesitate to lean against it even at full height. Three preset heights is about right, I use one for sitting height, one for standing and typing, and one a little higher for when I don't really need to type (on calls, just looking at my monitor, for example). The motor is quiet and adjusts the height reasonably quickly. The cord is plenty long to raise to full height, but if you have something like a monitor or accessories plugged in, make sure you've got a long enough cord or extension before raising this to its full, impressive height so you don't get a nasty surprise. ... show more

  • Great to have a desk that fits me
Style: Wooden Top Size: 55"×24" Color: White
I’ve had this desk for a couple of months now and I would highly recommend. I bought the white desk and it does not look cheaply made in my opinion. The surface is easy to clean and the metal base is sturdy. The height adjustment feature is still working and I have not had any issues with it. I am 6’2” so having a desk I could adjust to the right height when I’m sitting and being tall enough when I wanted to stand was important. The desk is large enough to hold both of my large monitors, while not feeling overly crowded. The only complaint I would have is there is a bar right under the desk that my knee nudges up against sometimes, but it is not annoying enough for me to take off a star. Great desk to work from home on. ... show more

  • Fantastic
Style: Wooden Top Size: 55"×24" Color: White
This is a fantastic desk for not being a solid, one-piece desk. It's not very heavy so it was easy to walk into my home, as long as someone was there to help me. It's awkward and bulky so I don't recommend moving this on your own unless you're very confident. This took me less than 2 hours to put together. The instructions are pretty helpful. It would have taken me less time if I didn't try watching the video that's in the listing. The video wasn't helpful. A tip for putting it together: keep the box as support for when you flip the desk over so you can attach the feet/desk legs. There's a photo of this suggestion in the instructions. You'll also want a Philip head screwdriver which isn't included but the two hex keys/Allen keys they provided were the main tools used. The screwdriver was only for the plastic hook you can (optionally) screw into the underside of the desk. Functionality: It rises and lowers very quietly and fairly quickly. I love that you can store four different height settings to the desk. The controls are easy to figure out and look great. Overall, the quality was surprisingly great and it was a great buy! If I bought this in-store, I would have overpaid for something similar, unless you're only looking for solid,one-piece desks. This is a two-piece, split desk top. I can feel it bow slightly when I fully rest my elbows on the desk while standing, but that's to be expected. The desk also looks really nice and doesn't look cheap. ... show more
