  • Oh, it is so easy to assemble....HA!
Style: Split Board Color: Black Size: 63x24 Inch
The instructions are relatively clear, but incomplete. And, if you contact FEZiBO, the manufacturer (or importer) and ask question(s), you get a canned answer that doesn't really answer the question. I got stuck on Step 3 and ended up solving it myself after some 12 hours of trying. Unfortunately, that solution ended up causing another problem, which required me to de-assemble the entire desk after putting it all together. It added about 90 minutes to the overall project, but .... The entire put together ended up taking about 15 hours. Looking back, I should have followed my own instincts and made a change. In Step 5, when you assemble the top, after putting in the 6 wooden pegs (63" model) .. take a moment and put some wood glue in the joint. When it is all finished and you turn it over, there is a gap that would not be there if you had used 2¢ worth of glue. The description says that the desk has "drawers", but in reality it has one drawer, made of fabric, and measuring 16"W x 11"L x 3"D. So, now I have to buy a filing cabinet to keep the stuff I need at hand. The desktop is pressed wood, and after removing 2 screws to fix a placement, I was unable to use the same holes. At $310, I guess I shouldn't have expected real wood, but, honestly, how much more would it have been to use 1" pine as opposed to 1" pressed wood? If I were starting over, I think I might have been tempted to get a sheet of .5" or .75" plywood and use the supplied top as a template. Too late now, it is together for the 3rd time and there is no power on earth that would make me take apart again. Even Putin couldn't get me to do that!! There are three electrical components: The handset to control the desk's movement up and down; The Power Adapter that converts 120/240 v to 12v for the motor and; The motor. The company supplies two cables to connect the various pieces. From the mounted spots, the handset and the power adapter are about 18" apart. The company supplied a 3' long cable. It is permanently attached to the power adapter and has a connector at the other end, so .... good ol' twist ties to the rescue. Likewise, the motor and handset are at best, 4 ft. apart, so the company supplies a 6 foot cable, with connectors at each end. Again, Kroger twist ties to the rescue. If I had to guess, the cables are the same regardless of the length of the desk, so if you buy a 48" or 55" model, you will have more cable to contend with. They supply both glides and casters for the desk, and the casters are a bit higher, but raise the desk to a minimum of 29.5", so there is nothing lost. Being the longest desk (63" vs 55" vs 48"), it has cable holes at either end. The shorter models only have one hole. Nicely, it does have a cable management tray at the back of the desk, so running wires shouldn't be such a mess. the back of my desk and computer resemble a large, very large, no, make that a super mega bowl of spaghetti. We will see if this makes a difference.... Overall, I am more happy than not, but.... 1. I don't expect the pressed wood to hold up very long, but everything else is sturdy, so when it goes, I will replace the top. 2. The dang-ed thing is heavy, bodaciously heavy, but that is a good thing as I will be loading it down with computer, printer and scanner. My current desk is only 55" and very narrow at only 19", whereas this is 8" longer and 6 inches deeper, so I should be able to put all of my computer hardware on my desk. 3. The BIG negative is the drawer. If you handle your grocery purchasing, you know that you can use a cloth or vinyl bag or a fabric box to bring home your treasures. Well, take that box and cut it down to 3: and you have the drawer that is supplied. Worse, it only has supports on two sides so anything heavy, will cause it to drop. If you have 15 hours to spare, and need a desk that allows you to sit or stand and can do without a real desk drawer, then I say go for it! Oh, and the box is 85 lb., and has about 600 sq. feet of heavy molded Styrofoam, so once you take it apart, don't even think about returning it! ... show more

  • Perfect desk!
Style: Split Board Color: Rustic Brown Size: 48x24 Inch
Did not even realize that this was motorized but this desk is perfect! I didn't personally assemble it. I made my son and husband do that but it did seem to be pretty easy for them and it did not take long. I was tired of the heavy school teacher desks with the heavy and often broken drawers. I finally invested in just getting my own. There is only only one drawer, it's a canvas type of material and it does not hold too much but that didn't matter to me. I have a plastic set of drawers under it and a file cabinet in the room. I didn't care about the drawer. If you are looking for a quality drawer, you may not be satisfied with this one but I am. I love the desk and I'm so happy I ordered it. ... show more

  • Fantastic value for the money
Style: Split Board Color: Rustic Brown Size: 48x24 Inch
The desk arrived well packed (all of the pieces are encased in thick foam inside the box) and I found the contents in perfect condition with zero damage. This was a relief after seeing some reviews on this desk describing all kinds of damage. The top, as others have mentioned, comes in 2 halves and is particle board with a wood veneer or decal, but looks the part of the real deal. It went together in maybe 30 minutes with basic hand tools - and the desk comes with the required allen wrench and a cheap screwdriver in the event you don't have them on hand at home already. I also did not run into any pre-drilled holes that were missing or misaligned as others have noted. Simply bolt the feet to each leg, attach a crossbar to connect the legs together, then assemble the desktop halves and bolt the legs to the top. The resulting product is sturdy and does not wobble. I have the 48" model and it's plenty big for my needs. The only potential weak point I can see is the tube that connects the rods that raise/lower each leg. It's cheap and the twist-locks on both ends are plastic, so you must take care not to over-tighten them as if it breaks you won't be able to raise or lower the desk anymore. I have a much more expensive motorized standing desk for work and when my old desk at home literally fell apart I decided to get something similar at home without spending upwards of $1,000 for a desk. I'll update if I run into any issues, but so far I have nothing but great things to say about the product. ... show more

  • Very good, but not perfect, but what is?
Style: Split Board Color: Light Rustic Size: 63x24 Inch
This desk is very good and I like it a lot. It raises and lowers easily and the texture of the desk is great. Only reason I give 4 stars is the sturdiness. For the average user, it's perfectly fine. But I like sturdy stuff, so I would prefer if it were even heavier and the desk top would be thicker. It doesn't bend because there's a frame underneath, but wobbles just a tad. But overall I really like it ... show more

  • Good for the money
Just assembled the desk today and so far, so good. I would give it 5 stars except it came damaged. See photo. I need to have this assembled for work tomorrow so I decided to deal with it. Although it is very noticeable.

  • Great desk but requires assembly and a bit short for me
Style: Split Board Color: Rustic Brown Size: 48x24 Inch
I bought this to use over a treadmill and I found it to be a bit short for my 6ft height. A couple of inches more would have been great (this is in addition to the height of the included wheels). I highly recommend it for most people though especially if you're just going to use it standing. Note that assembly could take at least an hour and you should have a philips screwdriver handy. ... show more

  • Great if you don’t plan on adjusting often.
Style: Split Board Color: Rustic Brown Size: 63x24 Inch
It’s a great desk, and pretty sturdy. I would definitely recommend. The only reason I give it 4/5 is because whenever you set its height it automatically locks and you have to press and hold a button 3x to unlock it, then and only then can you adjust the height of the desk. However, that reason alone is the only reason I don’t give it a 5/5. ... show more

  • Very nice desk for the money.
Style: Split Board Color: Rustic Brown Size: 48x24 Inch
Great little desk for the money. I will say it’s takes patience to put together. But it’s one and done and should last a long time. Would buy it again. Live that I can stand now to do my work.
