This is a very nice laptop backpack. It is designed for a larger laptop. I would choose another bag if you have a smaller laptop. Initially I had a 17 inch laptop, but I have downgraded to a 15.6. There is plenty of room inside of this bag for two 17” inch laptops side-by-side. I store my spare monitor and my laptop in this bag. The external compartment looks small however it is very large and has a zipper compartment that is perfect for storing cables and cords. The external material is very high-quality and appears water resistant. The locks are a nice touch. I have not used the charging port however it does come with a type USB-C cord as well. Actually a really nice backpack with a vinyl like surface finish. I choose this particular model because I work in manufacturing and I need coolants to wipe off of the surface. I also bring a laptop and a 17-in portable screen, both of which fit inside of one portion of the bag. This thing is super spacious and packs all of my cables necessary, and a couple of backups easily. I have yet to fill it completely.
