Bought this bat a couple months ago and it has some great pop off the barrel. Our men’s league switched to wood bats last year and I got one in black last year that worked great and the whole team used it, so bought a second one this year to accommodate the additional use by the team. This bat handles great, and has great action off the sweet spot. By some type of fluke, the bat cracked after only 5 games which really shocked me. This company has a 100 day guarantee on their product, so I reached out and the customer service was incredible. Awesome bat. The best you can possibly get for the money. Mine slightly cracked on a wood grain line and their customer service was very fast at taking care of it and sending me a new one.

This bat is great! It's so much lighter than other wood bats I've used, and it qualifies in our local slow pitch league. It's got good pop at the sweet spot and sounds great when you make good contact. Only potential downside I can see is durability; Between myself and my teammates we've probably used the bat for 20+ at-bats, and in that short time I have already started to see some pretty deep pitting at the top of the barrel in the soft bamboo. Very very small pieces of bamboo have actually broken off the top of the bat from simply tossing the bat after making contact, and it makes me a little worried about long term wear. If anything I was more worried about this bat quickly cracking or breaking because it's so light, but even after a few bad swings that doesn't seem to be an issue. So, I'm taking off one star for the already visible wear on the top of the barrel, but it gets a solid 4 stars for performance and weight so far. Will update with more information if there are any future issues (or lack thereof) ... show more

Excellent pop. Feels soft when you hit with it, but it launches the ball, kind of a weird feeling. We did break one, but it was replaced under warranty.

    • Beautiful wooden bat

I just love the feel and look of this bamboo bat. Straight from box it does seem like it has a couple minor chips in the bag already but not gonna let that affect my review. I play in a slow pitch league and will be using it first time tomorrow so we will see how it feels and the kinda pop it has.
