This bookshelf is a great piece. It holds all of my books and is pretty sturdy. I did not attach it to the wall so if you knock into it, it’ll wobble. But overall it seems safe and it’s a solid bookshelf. It’s a great size and the wood is lovely. It did come with an extra piece of a flat slate. I’m not sure what that’s for and if everyone gets it but it’s not pictured in the Amazon photos provided for this product. I love it! ... show more

Shelf is relatively easy to assemble, although the little tools provided are a bit lackluster. It is not very sturdy, I would recommend avoiding placing anything heavy near the top. The quality of the bamboo is not bad, we had a single shelf piece that had some residual (glue?) of some sort that was stuck to the surface, but otherwise the shelf is a nice addition to the home. ... show more

The product looks really cool and we are using it for music books. Deducting one star for these reasons: it’s not as strong/sturdy as I thought it would be, it would be much better if it came with wood look screw covers (having to buy those separately and hope they match), and because there’s 2 bags of screws/hardware… one bag has the screws that DO NOT work, and the other bag has screws that DO work. They need to get rid of the bag that doesn’t have the correct screws! ... show more

It is made of very sturdy bamboo but wobbles from being too heavy if not attached to the wall. I had to buy two long screws from the hardware store to put the base together because the screws that were sent with the product were too short. The seller ships from china. So make sure you want it before you buy. Shipping is slow but customer service was amazing! ... show more

This book shelf, is minimalistic, sleek, artistic, and really freaking pretty. It is streamlined, easy to assemble, holds a ton of books, and we pretty much get endless compliments on it. I looked forever for a bookshelf that wasn’t bulky or ugly, but felt like I was searching for a reinvented wheel. There are many different sellers on Amazon that seem to sell this exact bookshelf, but I went with this one based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. It does not look cheap or flimsy in the slightest. It looks durable and a very high-quality, and it feels durable and a very high quality. I love this bookshelf for my kids. The assembly was pretty easy. Advice is once it's all assembled loosen the bottom supports to level it. I haven't had to use the wall anchor, but if you have a child that is into climbing, I would recommend! I love the easy access and ability for kids to put the books back themselves. They updated the too short screws with some that are the right length but they did this by throwing an extra bag in so you have the too short screws and the correct length ones, which is ok after you figure out you’re not using all the hardware and which ones are the correct ones. Screws cross thread really easy so you have to kind of feel your way with them. When they line up with the nut insert it’s a quick job to tighten them up, when they don’t you fight them. You can round off the screw pattern fast since the metal seems really cheap. Was a little wiggly when fully assembled but still did the job. ... show more
