its a small table and works fine for our small space, but very hard to put togeather , holes were too small . i was pleased with the wood though , very nice, as far as sturdiness, ok , not for heavy things or any weight put on it. it works for what we needed, laptop, dinner coffee, etc

So hard to find a swiveling little desk like this! The only comparable one I could find is *three hundred dollars*. I'll probably weight the base a bit just for when I walk away with an open laptop on it, but it's pretty sturdy for what it is--and the pieces really do feel nice in your hands! I put it together on my lap during a work call and didn't need instructions--it's pretty intuitive if you know how it's supposed to look at the end. It's pretty and it swivels perfectly. It's just the right size for my laptop--meaning it's *bigger* than my laptop, so I'm not worried I'll knock it off if I shift an inch. Only think that would make it better would be if it tilted forward and had a lip, but then I'm sure it would be more expensive and complicated. So happy with the purchase! ... show more
