Summary: The Best things about this 50 UPF hoodie is that it's *amazingly* lightweight, buttery soft and that it's super breathable. It's also pretty much opaque, which is surprising as it's pale pink. Wholeheartedly recommend. For reference, I'm 5'2", measurements 38,33,42. I ordered the XL per the size chart. pros: 1. Comfortably silky smooth & soft. 2. I love this pale pink color, which can function as a neutral in my book (like a pretty shade of white) 3. Good coverage with long sleeves and hoodie. 4. UPF 50 with a tag that says so. 5. About 90% opaque. 6. The thumb "hole" is indeed hidden, and very comfortable. cons: 1. I wish they had petite sizes! Because I'm short, the sleeves go past my fingertips and the back hangs past my bum (which is as expected). So far this is my favorite UPF tee. This would be ideal for a carry-on only trip to somewhere sunny!

I got a red one in small and it fits wonderfully. The red, in person, to me is like cherry red which is visually brighter than in the product pictures that look like deeper shade of red. Doesn't bother me though. The cherry red is saturated and satisfying. The fabric looks and feels extremely smooth. I was impressed. I wore it to play at a Frisbee tournament and it performed well. I thought I was gonna have lots of visible sweat marks but I didn't. I mean I might still have them wearing this shirt doing other things but I think you would have to sweat profusely to have them shown. The shirt dried quickly and never clung to me. It looks like it would have but it didn't. I was happy about that. The side slits are attractive and I appreciate the lower back hem. I was ready to give this shirt a five star review. However, at the end of the day, there were two things I noted. First, the thumb holes. Thumb holes are not a make or break for me. I'm fine either way. I thought it was interesting and different that it's just the elastic bands that makes up the thumb holes as opposed to the typical thumb hole design. Those two elastic bands, over the course of half a day of putting them on and taking them off, they started to look stretched out. I'm not sure how long they will last. Second thing is the UPF feature of the shirt. I have several long sleeves with UPF50+. I understand that it's not 100% sun protection. However, when I took of this shirt at the end of the day, I noticed my tan lines where the sports bra would be were wayyy more visible than when I took off other sun shirts. It looked like I was running in the sun all afternoon with just a sports bra on and no shirt. The UV wasn't even that strong that day. So now I'm a little skeptical /unsure about the UPF of this shirt. Even with those two things I mentioned, it's still a solid shirt. It might not be my first choice if I know I'm gonna be in the sun a lot (unfortunately) but I still really like it.

This is a very fashionable and functional shirt. It fits well as ordered according to the measurement chart. It looks great, but I will note that it's just slightly short. That's OK unless you have a taller torso or are needing the length in larger sizes. Otherwise, it makes it look very flattering. The sleeves had fabric straps that you can put your thumbs through to keep the sleeves extended. The hood is more for looks than being useful as it's thin and doesn't have much of a shape. This shirt washes and dries well with minimal wrinkles. The fabric has more of a "performance" feel than being plush, but it's still very comfortable. This is a good value for a nice shirt for an active lifestyle and I highly recommend it.

I bought a small and it fits me well (125# 5'1" DD). It lays really nice, no clinginess or hugging where you don't want it. It is thin and very soft and smooth athletic fabric. The slits on the side are great- they add some style to the shirt. It also has a thumb hole strap. It also has a ponytail hole in the hood. I love this- I wear it all the time. I would definitely recommend. I want it in another color now. No cons so far.

My tween is 5'1" and wears a woman's small. I got this in a small for her and it fits as expected. I like the hidden and well made thumb hooks inside the sleeves, but she probably won't use them. She loves hoods and this hood covers nicely. It will be great for when we hike in the warmer months. She tends to get over heated and this is such a light material that it will keep her cool and protected from the sun. She has the hood when she wants it. It's great for her!

I like this Baleaf top. I don’t love it. It’s got some nice features, such as a hood and even a slit (as seen in attached photo) for pony tails? Also some loops on the sleeves (as seen in attached pic) instead of thumb holes? And it is a thin, moisture wicking fabric. But. —It is annoyingly shorter in the front —like they tried to make it into a longer crop top but then put the longer tail of fabric length in the back. —The pink on description vs the pink you’ll get is different. This isn’t a cotton candy pink but more of a dusty pink w peach undertones. —There is a small silver grey logo on the front. It looks like a sticker instead, and it’s annoying. Detracts from look of top. —Fit is more fitted near shoulder area and then a bit wider or flowy on the bottom. Not sure how much use I’ll get out of this. Maybe I can use as a going to the pool or beach in summer top. Or as a pj top for cooler spring nights.
