I'm apple shaped and have gained a little weight in my middle but I have thin legs so I ordered an XL. The leggings fit me well all around. The only negative is they're actually a little long in length. Usually things are shorter on me. I'm 5'7 and I'm right on the edge of regular and tall length. Never could wear tall (always too long on me) so I have to be careful wearing regular and hope it doesn't shrink. I guess you could say this was a happy negative. As for other reviewers stating that the leggings collect lint and hair. Sure maybe some but nothing like I read about. I almost didn't purchase because of that but thought I would take a chance. I have two long haired dogs that shed alot and so far I haven't had any issues. I find the leggings very comfortable and warm. Happy I took the chance.

Very comfortable. Not see through. Light fleece lining it's very soft and cozy. A tiny baggy in the crouch area but are fine to wear alone or as a base layer. Not super wind or water proof alone but as a base layer they help keep the wind out just fine. They taper at the ankle for a "skinny" fit and are stretchy enough in the right areas so they don't flatten the booty at all. THEY HAVE POCKETS! hehe actual decent sized pockets, they have a strange tapered point so chapstick might get lost deep on the pocket but not a big deal. I'll probably get two more pairs for this winter. They're great to hike and bicycle in on 35° nights so far.

The quality and fit is excellent. They are very soft against the skin and warmer than the usual leggings. They also look great after a wash. And, as I said in the title they are OK wind breakers, when it’s chilly.

I was preparing for a move back to my home town in MN from SoCal, and was searching for a good pair of fleece lined leggings. I ordered a pair from The North Face and the polartech from Athelta and was disappointed in both pairs. Lululemon also has a fleece lined pair that cost $200! They need to be pulled up all the time and gave that weird baggy crotch effect and then the other issue was that they weren't long enough (I'm 5 9) and had the capri effect which I HATE because I don't want part of my ankles sticking out of shorter boots getting chilly. They also weren't tight enough around the ankles and I hate that, I want them to be wrapped around my whole ankle tightly. I was also trying to find a pair that was more work-friendly, some of these cold weather leggings on the market look too sporty for an office. I got the water resistant pair and plan to order more colors! waist is very high waisted, and has good control on the lower stomach. perfect fit, they don't ride down or have weird bagginess. they also feel rather wind proof and has washed well so far! Don't hesitate, buy now, you won't regret it!

These are my favorite fleece leggings. They've stayed soft without pilling even after a year of washings. They're actually warm, and of good quality. I raise sheep and goats in northern IL so I need clothes that are warm in Feb. Plus they're long enough! I'm so tired of leggings that are made for midgets. I have 6 pairs of these now, and if they came in colors I wear, I'd have more.
