Sometimes what you buy is what you get. These didn't cost much and I just needed a few extra pieces for a holiday garland. Since it's nothing to be seen up close I wasn't too concerned about the quality. They do look better than some of the reviews have said, but I wasn't meaning for these to be a focal point. so given that they're plastic and you can definitely see the molded seams, didn't bother me for my application.

These little instruments are bigger than I expected! I got them for my band kiddo and her friends to add to their crowns, but they could easily be made into ornaments or even instruments for fashion dolls.

Advertised as doll toys... these have eyelets for string or ornament hangers. Yes I guess they could be used as doll toys but my girls didn't seem to be too excited to use them. Also they don't appear to be made after any actual instrument. They are just shaped similar to other instruments. Not really worth it in my opinion.

Around 1/12 scale, they're cute and shiny. Do note that the gold finish was already flecking off in the package, revealing tiny black spots underneath.
