One thing I usually worry about with items from Amazon is that they’re vacuum-sealed, which often causes that strong plastic smell when opened. I’m pretty sensitive to smells, so I was pleasantly surprised that this one didn’t have any odor at all—I could use it right away without needing to air it out for a few days. The overall balaclava is comfortable and seems a bit more breathable than others I’ve tried, though not by a huge difference. The material feels good and doesn’t cause any itchiness or discomfort. My only real issue is that it runs a bit large. I have a larger head size, and even for me, it feels slightly loose.
