I like the size of this speed rack. It is made for the home baker. It goes together easily and the wheels on it move very smoothly. They send you all the tools you need to put the rack together, along with a few extras and assembly went quick. The racks did hold my half-sheet pans that I pick up at the local big box store and it holds a total of 15 sheet pans. This rack will not hold a heavy load on the sheet pan. You will be using this for your lighter breads and pastries or other very light items. Whatever you decide to use the rack for, I would still use care during your first use. I was going to use this for other kitchen purposes when not in use during my heaving baking season, but you have to be careful. The first rack I put on it with any weight fell to the bottom right away. It would be nice to have a larger lip on these so this would not happen.

I really like this Bakery Bun Pan Rack! It’s incredibly convenient to have in my kitchen. I was so excited for this rack, it was exactly what I was looking for. However, as soon as I opened the box my heart dropped. The "shelves" to hold the sheet pans were so short! I've used many commercial racks before, and the metal has always been wide enough to support the bottom of the pan. I could tell these would only support the rim, but I thought I'd try it in case it worked. Well, big failure, my pans wouldn't stay on the shelves. And as these pans were purchased from a restaurant supply store, they should have worked if this product was properly designed. Needless to say, this has been returned and I will be searching for a new rack.

While this rack is designed for baking sheets, I ordered it because the vertical spacing of the rack tabs are perfect for Stanley and HF small parts organizers. The width of the rack will require modification to fit these organizers, but I knew that when ordering. I used some aluminum bar stock to make new horizontal supports and did not use the horizontal supports that came with the rack. It worked perfectly and I have a very reasonably priced rack for my workshop. This modification is very easy to do, and could be done with wood, aluminum, or steel. All you need is to cut or bend your new horizontal supports to the correct width, then bolt to the rack sides. Rack is very well made and feels sturdy. Each shelf is riveted to the frame. Should be plenty strong for organizer bins with lighter items inside. Probably has a lot of other unconventional uses as well, very versatile racking system.

I have used various speed rack in the food industry throughiut the years. Most follow a similar design as this rack, with some minor differences. Unfortunately, those minor differences make all the difference between works and works very well. This unit only works. It is reasonably lightweight, which is good (makes moving it easier) and bad (allows flexing). It was a little disappointing to see that it is only a lip grabber, the kind that limits pan size to only those able to fit perfectly, versus having 2" tracks so trays can be supported from the bottom (like some others). Additionally, the track spacing between rack spaces is very narrow, limiting the ability to use all rack space if needed, requiring skipping and spacing to fit. Finally, there is no central crossmembers to help against flexing, which under more weight, will enivitably happen. When flexing happens, that perfect pan width becomes irrelevant, because the space is wider and the shorter rim tracks are not big enough to compensate. So, it works, but you have to ensure you are using it in a limited capacity to keep your goodies in place.

This is a cute and nice sized rack, however, as others have said, each of the racks are not super sturdy and if bumped against something, all of the pans will fall down because there is not a wide enough lip holding the pans on. I will be returning this as I do not want to accidentally have batches of baked goods wasted because they fell off of the cart. It is not worth the risk.
