Great support as a replacement for wooden slats!

I have decided that wooden slats are the lest effective foundation for a mattress. I've had my wooden bedframe for about 15 years not and getting a new one is definitely not in the budget. For some reason it seems impossible to get the slats to stay in position because I can't get the frame itself perfectly lined up. The bed frame support system is the perfect solution! The bars are super easy to set up and the expand to fit your specific bed frame. You can then screw them in to the frame or let the ends just rest on the edges. You don't have to worry about the movement and slippage that you get with wooden slats. I feel much more confident in the stability of my bed now and I'm very satisfied.

Does not work on metal bed frames

I'm assuming this bed support works well but I will never know because the ad did not say it was only for wood bed frames. My bad frame is metal and it does not work on metal bed frames. I deducted two stars because in my mind "universal" means that it will work for all bed frames. That is not true. It only works for wood.

Good bed frame support

I picked up this bed frame support system after my old IKEA frame started cracking in the middle. The original design just didn’t have enough support, and even adding a sheet of plywood wasn’t enough to fix the issue—it still felt weak and unstable. This set made a huge difference. The adjustable legs were easy to install and added much-needed support right where the frame was failing. It really helps distribute the weight more evenly, especially toward the center, which takes a lot of stress off the weaker parts of the frame. Since adding these supports, the bed feels a lot sturdier, and I don’t hear the same creaking or feel the sagging I did before. It’s a simple solution, but it works really well—especially for bed frames that aren’t the best designed to begin with. Overall, this was exactly what I needed to reinforce my frame and prevent any further cracking.

Adds ample support to a weak bed foundation.

These bed frames supports are for wooden beds. Our wooden slats would not hold up to the weight of our 200+ pound mattress with 2 adults to boot. I actually broke one of the wooden slats standing on the bed to install a ceiling fan. (We do not have a box spring.) This is a set of 3 crossbar supports with center support legs. They can adjust to fit queen or king frames, and the legs are adjustable within a range of 10" - 15.7". You'll want to ensure the space under your bed is within this range to ensure compatibility. These supports can withstand a weight of up to 1,000 pounds, which is plenty for us. Our mattress and my husband and I have a combined weight of approximately 600 pounds. These supports have held up perfectly since we installed them a few months ago. We removed the broken wood slat and repositioned the remaining slats to evenly distribute the weight. So far, so great!

This bed frame support system seems like a solid option overall. Unfortunately, it didn’t end up working with my particular bed frame, but I was able to pass it along to my sister and she has been using it without issues so far. She also stated that it’s been quiet so you don’t have too worry about too much noise when getting on it. Installation was quick and straightforward, and the adjustable design makes it easier to fit different bed sizes. The metal components feel sturdy and the extra center support is helpful for reinforcing a mattress and box spring. Even though it didn’t work for my setup, it appears to do its job well on compatible frames, and it’s a good option if you need additional bed support.
