  • Made in China
Well made, But made in china... Also the drift pin that locks against the blade spins in place, not sure if this is part of the design but it will be easily lost.

  • Essential for tight spaces!
Very well made and easy to use tool. Not the best quality blade perhaps but it got the job done.

  • Turned to junk
I have several of these hacksaws that were made years ago in Sweden. Those are beautifully made and durable- I've been using them for 10 years and consumed dozens of blades. I recently bought a couple more and found out that they are completely worthless. They are so cheaply made that the fixing screw that locks the blade into place is tilted by at least 5 degrees, causing the locking knob to hit the body of the saw before the set screw touches the blade. (Note: I used a synonym for tilted in my previous review and it was pulled for 'obscenity' - what a joke!) In other words, the item is completely unusable. In addition, the tolerances are very sloppy on the saw frame overall. I pulled the packing material back out of the trash and found - not surprisingly - that Bahco has moved production of these saws to China. Avoid these like the plague, unless you can find an older version. Also, the pictured item is the older-style Swedish-made saw frame. The new ones have a rough, dull, pebbly finish. Shame on you, Bahco. ... show more
