The sizes were perfect. Very easy to pack, easy to zip up. Very good quality material and they looked good as well. The cubes held up very well. These packing cubes allowed me to organize all of my packing, so I knew what was where. Making unpacking and packing easier. They were perfect to use for traveling. My clothes were not scattered all over the place from having to be checked to go on the plane. These cubes added protection for my clothes, shoes and personal items. Nothing was out of place or thrown around from having to be baggage checked. Wish I had bought these compression packing cubes sooner, when I was traveling every 2 weeks.

The quality of these bags, meaning that the construction, materials both fabric and zipper, and seam strength, seem very good. They look nice and they are very roomy with sizes being good for a variety of clothing. In that way they are excellent. But since we're paying for the compression as well this was an issue for me. What didn't work for me was the compression itself. Being an over-packer, yes I do admit that, I thought this would work somewhat like the bags that can reduce the air and flatten out. This isn't exactly the case. What happens when the cube is filled to its maximum and then compressed with the zipper, is that the center of the cube increases in size so that it can accommodate the lack of size around the bag's perimeter. In other words the contents are pushed to the center. While this might make for more square inches in the suitcase to add these bags the higher center makes for other problems. I packed, compressed the bags and went to close the suitcase and it was just not happening very easily, if at all. I decided to try another way thinking that the packing cubes really didn't seem smaller but seemed more "stuffed" after compression. Like I said the central area had increased in size. I decided to open the compression zippers and see what would happen. Although I did need to make some re-arrangements due to the larger overall squared size of the packing cube, the central area of the cube decreased in size quite a bit. So much so that the suitcase was actually easy to close. So although I do think that these are well made of good quality materials and are great for organizing the stuff in one's suitcase the compression was a disappointment for me. I think that possibly the usefulness of compression for an over-packer like myself is not going to make a difference but since the bags are of good quality they may work for someone who is more conservative with their packing. :-)

The zippers are easy; the compression works great they come in various sizes for whatever you clothing needs may be. They keep your items organized and protected and while I was not a believer of these at first, I quickly became one. They are also easy to wash when you get home from your trip!

Buy these! Frequent traveler here; bc of recent airline changes for checked bags, wanted to go with only a carry on. These varied size compression bags fit the bill 1000 %. I fit clothes for a 4 day sisters’ trip with lots of layers for varying weather in the second largest bag. The gussets allow for expansion, and zip closed very easily-resulting bag is so compact and easy you can use. The fabric is sturdy, yet not bulky and look very stylish. So many different shapes and sizes-I used one for toiletries and cosmetics and again was amazed how much I could pack. They each have a small carrying handle and rolled clothes look better when unpacked than when I used my older simple style packing cubes. Used only 2 bags-put hiking shoes in the bottom of carry on and had room to spare! Sisters were so impressed they each ordered a set on the spot. Giving away my old packing cubes and telling every I know that likes to travel to buy these!!!!
