Was impressed with how much I could fit in these! I was a little thrown off by how soft they are (I was thinking they’d be stiffer material), but they turned out to be extremely durable. They were easy to pack and compress, and the zippers held up well. I took a small, medium, and large one on my week trip in the regular Away carry-on bag. In the small one I was able to fit a weeks worth of underwear, bras, and socks. In the medium one, I fit 2 jeans, a pair of slacks, a maxi skirt, leather skort, and 3 long sleeve tops. In the large one I fit a jacket (which had a faux fur collar), a leather blazer, a regular sweater and a body suit. Overall, extremely impressed, would recommend to anyone. ... show more

I purchased these based on a recommendation from a "packing effectively" website. I have been using regular packing cubes for years, so I'm already into the concept, and found the idea of compression bags intriguing. They do what they say -- they compress the contents and it does appear to take less space. As the instructions indicate, you have to be careful to not overpack them to start with. Following the instructions for how to fold, I felt that shirts, etc., were not wrinkled any more than I would expect for a "normal" packing cube. I wonder, however, if the compression is really any different than what happens when you pack regular cubes and then squash down the lid of your suitcase -- you are just getting this compression up front rather than after the fact. I will keep using them and see if I develop a stronger opinion of clear benefits over time. ... show more

These things took my BABY & ME on a whole month trip from Taiwan to the Philippines!!!! There is so much room to pack all your clothes and then on top of that, compresses your clothes into these somewhat-ish cubes. I originally thought my clothes were going to wrinkle but I had no issues with that. There was so much room left over in my suitcase when we left on the trip, I ended up bringing home so many souvenirs. I used them on my recent trip. I was able to do carry on vs check bag. My clothes was not wrinkled, I watched the video on how to pack your compression cubes. It was nice to be able to not do check bag and also I just took my cubes unzipped them and laid them in the drawers and I was done except what I had to hang up. ... show more

Overall - I would rate this 3.5 - 4 stars. I have purchased 2 sets of this and still use them when traveling. ***In the picture these bags are the black with gray bands and zipper. The white are another compression bag brand I tried *** The BAGAIL Compression Packing Cubes have proven to be reliable travel companions with some notable strengths and a few minor setbacks, leading to a balanced 3.5-4 star rating. On the positive side, these packing cubes have been a boon for keeping my luggage organized. They are sturdy and well-made, fitting neatly into various travel bags. Cleaning them is a breeze, which adds to their overall convenience. The zippers held up well and didn't give me any trouble during my trips. While the compression feature does work, it didn't quite match up to the best I've experienced. It performed adequately, but did not compress to the level I expected. I found that the level of compression achieved was influenced by the types of clothes I used. Lighter fabrics responded better to compression compared to bulkier items (despite the claims that hoodies in these bags can be 'seriously compressed'... they don't save that much room using these bags) In summary, the BAGAIL Compression Packing Cubes are dependable organizers that fulfill their purpose effectively. The cubes are easy to clean, sturdy, and well-designed, fitting seamlessly into travel bags. While the compression feature is decent, it fell short of the best I've encountered. However, if you are looking strictly for a compression bag...it's important to consider that its effectiveness might vary based on the clothing being packed. Bought these while preparing to move abroad for a year. Am now on the other side of the Atlantic and can confirm that they're awesome for anyone traveling for an extended period of time. They kept my overstuffed suitcases organized and were a lifesaver for transporting cold-weather clothing--I was able to get a bulky knee-length winter coat, a fleece, four sweaters, and assorted socks, shirts, etc. all into one side of a medium checked bag and still have room to spare. This is a great product. It's sizes are better than first thought to be from the website photos. They're bigger especially the largest one. This is better than the 2 gallon size Ziploc bags I had been using. The compression zippers should be handled with ease so they last a long time. These bags also came in my favorite color turquoise & this was much to my delight. This is much better fitting in my tote bags now. The material is lighter than I thought as well & they fit well inside each other for compact storage. They do get heavy as they become full. I am happy with this purchase. ... show more
