Update: The seller reached out to me after viewing my review. They offered to refund me in full for the defective cables and then send me a new pair of cables direct from their location. I received the cables within just a couple of days. This pair fit perfectly and sound really, really good. So much so that I am returning the Audioquest McKenzie cables I had purchased after returning the defective Viborg cables. I feel this is a really high compliment, as the Viborgs are 25% of the cost of a pair of McKenzies but sound smoother and better in my system. All I can say is well done, Viborg, thanks for reaching out to me, and thanks for the replacement cables. They look, feel, and sound fantastic! Original Review: I hate to leave a bad review here... I was really excited to get these cables. They were well-constructed, looked great, were thick, nice locking connectors; they had all the signs of being quality cables. But, when I tried connecting the right (red) cable between my phono preamp and integrated amplifier, I ran into my first problem... the connectors refused to go on to the RCA jacks of either of my components. They were unbelievebly tight. I double checked the locking connector, made sure it was loosened all the way up (it already was), and tried again. I had to get really forceful with it to get it on. Even then, it only went on halfway and stopped. I tried pulling it off, and got very concerned as it took a lot of effort to finally get it to pull off. Like A LOT. Enough so I was worried about it breaking my gear. I tried the other end, being a tad more gentle just in case I couldn't get it back off. Same problem. I gave up, put it back in the box. I tried the second cable of the pair, and sure enough it went right onto the RCA connectors on my preamp, no issues. Fit great, and the locking connector worked perfect. So, one of the cables fit perfectly, but the other was defective and would only go on halfway, and only that with tremendous force. I tried to contact the seller. I was hoping they would just send me a replacement and I'd send them the defective cable. Clicked on their name, Viborg, on the product details page and then clicked 'Ask Question.' Instead of allowing me to ask Viborg a question, I was directed to Amazon Support, which of course, with a defective cable, could do nothing for me. All they could do was offer me help to return it. No replacement offered. No customer support, a defective cable, what else can I do but return it to Amazon?

These are very nice RCA cable. Correcting what other reviewed said before about these cables not being copper because the color is not red. I want to say these are copper cables, in fact a very high quality cables. The copper strands are silver plated. This add sonic properties to the wire making it more detailed and richer. I'm very happy with these cables. If you are handy like myself you can cut the cables to your exact length needs, and still have plenty of cable for more cables. Be aware this is a very thick cable and you need rca plugs for cable diameters of 9mm or more. Cables (power , speaker and interconnects) matter. They do not add to the sound, they only degrade. So you need cables which degrade the less (transmit more). You cannot make your sound better than what it comes out of your DAC/preamp. But you want that signal to be transmitted as clean as possible to your amplifiers. And the same applies to speaker cables. The best cable is no cable (which is not possible). Also be mindful of diminishing return. Only spend as much as possible to get an adequate performance and balance among all your components.

I do reviews here and there. I'm not trying to sway or impress anyone when I do. But I feel like this product needed more reviews. It is unidirectional, the flow goes arrow away from source to amp on my Schiit Mani. The Schiit Mani was already a massive soundstage improvement, these cables opened the sound even more. The Mani was like someone opened the doors in front of my speakers- BIG DIFFERENCE, then I hooked up the cables and it was like someone took off the sheets over my speakers that were behind doors. All anologies- my speakers are open air and free standing Fluance towers. I've been improving all aspects of the sound chain. The new pre-amp and cables are part of that. I have a Pro-Ject Carbon Esprit retrofitted with an Audio Technica shibata stylus, these cables running from TT to Schiit Mani, Mani into my Onkyo THX Ultra II certified receiver with these cables. 10AWG Monster Cable Z wires from the Fluance Towers- sound is incredible for modrate price points. I don't have the best of anything- but I do have extremely good of everything- make sense? Oh- yeah I recommend these cables- worth every penny!

What nice and thick cables that look great tight fit and for new cables so transparent and musical.I could pay a lot and not get any better.I have used Kimber cables in the past which are very good.My system has four subwoofers and the room is big.Four speakers in the front and just started to enjoy my new cd player from Integra.Have streaming and cds for the present.Use Marantz and Parasound thx amplifier.These fine cables fit in my system quite well highly recommend.Use ten gauge speaker cables for my fronts.

Well they are nice tried first to preamp to amp and It sounded funny so I put from cd player to preamp and the sound was definitely different well been a couple weeks and after about thirty hours of play they got better . There made for turntables or cd player media players they are a tight fit I think there a good cable but that is my preference so sound different yes high end rca cables yes. only time will tell ends are little long but easy to tighten and lossen

I bought it as return unit and got a good price for it. Id say the build quality was good and sound quality certainly didnt degrade. Im not one for psending ludicrous money on cables however I do know thay can make a differnce. How much of a differnece well that depends a lot on person ands system etc.
