Update: The seller reached out to me after viewing my review. They offered to refund me in full for the defective cables and then send me a new pair of cables direct from their location. I received the cables within just a couple of days. This pair fit perfectly and sound really, really good. So much so that I am returning the Audioquest McKenzie cables I had purchased after returning the defective Viborg cables. I feel this is a really high compliment, as the Viborgs are 25% of the cost of a pair of McKenzies but sound smoother and better in my system. All I can say is well done, Viborg, thanks for reaching out to me, and thanks for the replacement cables. They look, feel, and sound fantastic! Original Review: I hate to leave a bad review here... I was really excited to get these cables. They were well-constructed, looked great, were thick, nice locking connectors; they had all the signs of being quality cables. But, when I tried connecting the right (red) cable between my phono preamp and integrated amplifier, I ran into my first problem... the connectors refused to go on to the RCA jacks of either of my components. They were unbelievebly tight. I double checked the locking connector, made sure it was loosened all the way up (it already was), and tried again. I had to get really forceful with it to get it on. Even then, it only went on halfway and stopped. I tried pulling it off, and got very concerned as it took a lot of effort to finally get it to pull off. Like A LOT. Enough so I was worried about it breaking my gear. I tried the other end, being a tad more gentle just in case I couldn't get it back off. Same problem. I gave up, put it back in the box. I tried the second cable of the pair, and sure enough it went right onto the RCA connectors on my preamp, no issues. Fit great, and the locking connector worked perfect. So, one of the cables fit perfectly, but the other was defective and would only go on halfway, and only that with tremendous force. I tried to contact the seller. I was hoping they would just send me a replacement and I'd send them the defective cable. Clicked on their name, Viborg, on the product details page and then clicked 'Ask Question.' Instead of allowing me to ask Viborg a question, I was directed to Amazon Support, which of course, with a defective cable, could do nothing for me. All they could do was offer me help to return it. No replacement offered. No customer support, a defective cable, what else can I do but return it to Amazon?

These are very nice RCA cable. Correcting what other reviewed said before about these cables not being copper because the color is not red. I want to say these are copper cables, in fact a very high quality cables. The copper strands are silver plated. This add sonic properties to the wire making it more detailed and richer. I'm very happy with these cables. If you are handy like myself you can cut the cables to your exact length needs, and still have plenty of cable for more cables. Be aware this is a very thick cable and you need rca plugs for cable diameters of 9mm or more. Cables (power , speaker and interconnects) matter. They do not add to the sound, they only degrade. So you need cables which degrade the less (transmit more). You cannot make your sound better than what it comes out of your DAC/preamp. But you want that signal to be transmitted as clean as possible to your amplifiers. And the same applies to speaker cables. The best cable is no cable (which is not possible). Also be mindful of diminishing return. Only spend as much as possible to get an adequate performance and balance among all your components.

Great sounding cables. They are thick like one of t house single pepperonis that you usually can buy at the grocery store when you are about to check out. The sound to me is energetic and very balanced, not cold nor warm sounding. They are definitely NOT shouty in the mid highs like cheap or standard cables but they carry higher resolution. The company was very responsive when I asked them somewhat a few technical questions and after researching other options, my conclusion is that this is the best bang for the buck cable right now on Amazon compared to similar priced cables. At 10ft I was worried I would lose energy but they transfer power very well and actually improved sound quality over a 3ft nice belkin gold plated cables. They also eliminated a barely noticeable RF noise I had with the older cables despite being 10ft long. Don’t expect miracles if your sound system is nor revealing enough,but they are definitely a step up

BUYER BEWARE listen to all of the negative reviews! I should have. I have had good equipment my entire life and pretty decent cables. I recently received my new custom built tube amp and needed a better cable due the the higher interference with low wattage, especially with turntables and pre stages. As everyone else states these cables are WAY too freaking tight. There is no way I am cramming these onto my hand built amp, risking ripping out the RCA mount when I need to eventually swap (if they are even any good, which I will never know). In all of my 50 years owning component systems, I have never come across a cable that was even remotely this terrible of a mis-fit. What garbage. And with half of the people complaining, there is no way they don't know about this. Just pay up the modest fee for SVS cables. That is what I wanted but figured I'd try these first. The SVS are "real audiophile" quality and only $50 for the same length cable and you know you aren't doing better without spending hundreds per pair.
