I have a purse I really love and the hardware on the strap broke. I've been able to make it work, but it looks really crappy. This strap is great and makes my purse like new again. It's very heavy duty, probably a bit overkill for my small purse, but I don't care. it would probably work for a messenger bag or laptop case, it's really thick and sturdy and actually heavy for what it is. Very nicely made, good stitching and nice fabric. The little ring is a bonus if you want to hang something small.

See all the photos of the models with their bags positioned pretty much where you'd want a bag? One even has it at their waist. They're about 2 feet tall. Or, more likely, they've never been in the same room as the bag and had their photos manipulated to convince idiots like me that this strap will hold a bag in a comfortable position. Want a strap that'll hold a bag even with your armpit? Here it is. Unless you're about 3 feet tall, that's exactly where your bag will end up. They advertise the length at longer than 3 feet. If that's true (I don't have a measuring tape handy), it's end to end, not middle to end, like I'd expect a strap that holds things on one's shoulder to be measured. I don't care how long it is from end to end. I can't tell you what the front of my shoulder to the back of my shoulder measures. I care how far down the bag will sit. And, again, in this case, it's my armpit. At this length, I don't know why they even bother, except, again, to use those photos to trick people into thinking it's a normal sized bag strap, rather than sized to fit a toddler.
