Great quality

Bafode Goose Down Comforter Twin Size - Fluffy Goose Feather Down Comforter, Organic Cotton Shell - All Seasons Duvet Great quality. Forgot that I was allergic to real down feathers so it will not be an option for me but the quality of this is nice for a twin size comforter. It's an all season so the winters will be a little bit warmer with this. ... show more

Year round use
Size: Twin
RIght out of the package this lofted up fairly quickly to a nice light weight comforter. The fabric is a natural unbleached off-white that I quickly grew to like - very neutral and it won't matter once you put it in a duvet cover, if you do. For right now, summer, I am not using a duvet cover. We keep the A/C set at 74 which means a room temp between 74 - 76, for the comfort of the majority. So, I need layers of blankets in the summer, and end up with blankets scattered as my temperatures fluctuate. Remembering how easy it was to sleep under a light down comforter year round in various european countries during my travels, I took the chance on this comforter. I'm glad I did! With this comforter and a sheet, my sleeping temperatures didn't seem to fluctuate - just the usual foot out now and then. Love that! At first I missed the weight of blankets but the simplicity of a single "blanket" won me over! I just give it a shake as I make the bed and it settles beautifully and the neutral color goes perfectly. Come winter, when the house will be in the low 60s, I'll have this in a duve and look forward to being plenty warm! ... show more

I slept well last night!
Size: Twin
I have been using a down comforter with a quilt on top in the summer. We use air conditioning. My old all season comforter was just a bit too lightweight. This one is a bit heavier and warmer. It’s still not heavy enough for me but it is very well made and has 0 smell! It is a quality comforter. It is amply large for my ikea duvet, which my old twin sized one from a bedding and houseware catalog in the 1990s was not. I love that there is no empty space in my duvet now! It has good stitching and is certified 100 by OEKO-TEX which I believe means that 100 nasty chemicals are not used in this comforter. The feather fiber and down seem to be very evenly distributed. The comforter is a bit thin looking but it is not what I would use in the winter when our house is in the low 50’s at night. I did fluff it in the dryer before use but it doesn’t get super lofty. It’s a 65°F -74°F comforter for me. Combined with a nice cotton quilt for weight it would be fine in winter for 58°F-64°F. Those are my temps, of course your opinion might be different. The main take is that I slept really well last night! I saw goose feather and did not realize it’s 5% goose down and 95% goose feather FIBER. I remember feathers being heavier weight so was excited about this being all season and heavier. Upon re-reading the listing I do see it says it’s lightweight. My bad and also my bad for not reading the word fiber. The good news is that fiber has no quills poking you through the fabric! I just don’t really know what feather fiber is. I read that it’s sort of ground up feather.. We will see how it lasts and washes. It could be that feather fiber is an awesome bedding filler. It does have washing instructions and I would guess this will last many many years. I wouldn’t mind putting this on the guest bed straight from the box. ... show more

I love this comforter!
Size: Twin
Wow, at first this had an odd smell when I washed and dried it and it took 120 minutes to dry on tumble dry low! 1. It isn't exactly white - more of a cream or light taupe color 2. Fabric Quality is top notch as well as the stitching! 3. Great weight - excellent for winter or summer 4. Once shaken up it fluffed up nice - I will leave it in the sun once a month to fluff up and renew the loft. A goose down comforter is often considered one of the best choices for bedding due to its unique combination of qualities that contribute to comfort and warmth. Here are some reasons why a goose down comforter is often considered the best: Exceptional Insulation: Goose down clusters have the ability to trap a significant amount of warm air, providing excellent insulation and retaining body heat. This makes goose down comforters exceptionally warm and cozy, ideal for cold nights. Lightweight: Goose down is very lightweight, which means that a high-quality goose down comforter can provide excellent warmth without feeling heavy or cumbersome on your bed. Breathability: Natural goose down has good breathability, allowing excess moisture and body heat to dissipate. This can help regulate your body temperature and prevent overheating during sleep. Durability: High-quality goose down clusters are known for their durability and resilience. A well-cared-for goose down comforter can last for many years. Fluffiness and Loft: Goose down has a natural loftiness that creates a fluffy and cloud-like appearance. This loftiness adds to the comfort and aesthetic appeal of the comforter. Allergy Considerations: Contrary to common belief, high-quality goose down comforters are often hypoallergenic. They are cleaned and sanitized during the manufacturing process, which reduces the risk of triggering allergies. Luxurious Feel: Goose down comforters are associated with luxury due to their softness, warmth, and overall comfort. The luxurious feel adds to the overall sleeping experience. It's important to note that the quality of the goose down and the construction of the comforter play a significant role in determining its performance. High-quality goose down comforters often come with higher fill power, indicating the fluffiness and insulating ability of the down clusters. However, personal preferences and considerations, such as budget and ethical concerns, should also be taken into account when choosing bedding. ... show more

This is very bulky, comfortable, and warm. Great for the winter. Because this is 100% cotton, it does wrinkle. The outer material is a bit rough and thick, but in a good way. I believe you can treat this as a duvet, if you like. There are hooks, or tabs, at the corners. You can easily wash and dry this in you machine. It’s not heavy. Overall, a really good quality comforter. ... show more
