Description

The 20/20 provides the professional illustrator with an airbrush capable of producing the ultimate in fine line detail. It is more precise, more comfortable, and more reliable than any competitor. When fine line detail or the finest paint atomization for a “soft” spray pattern is required, SOTAR is the only choice. Finely pigmented properly reduced paints, water colors, inks, dyes, and low viscosity acrylics can be sprayed with the 20/20. The elongated body maintains an efficient distance between trigger and paint reservoir. The trigger and back lever assemble easily thanks to our innovative “track and winged” design. The MODEL 2020-2H has a mounted 1/12 ounce color cup which allows for extended use before having to add color. The heavy (clear) needle / nozzle will spray a "pencil” line to 1 1/4 inch (31 millimeter) spray pattern. Kit includes SOTAR 2020-2H with an extra heavy needle. Proudly made in the USA.

I ordered brand new and was given a used item. Paint cup had white staining, nozzle caps had tarnishing and dried up paint. Had to clean it all up.

The airbrush is pretty fantastic, but out of the box there is no way to connect it to a standard sized hose. It would have been nice for this information to be available so you don't have to wait even longer to order the correct parts to connect the aribrush to a hose. It should come out of the box ready to roll. ... show more

    • Poorly made.....
It was defective when I unboxed it, it wouldn’t spray, the trigger was locked tight and would not loosen after adjustments. I took it apart and reassembled it (correctly) and tried it again. The brush sprayed poorly and it leaked! I was so looking forward to this brush as the reviews said it was great. The packaging was also subpar with cheap foam that was cut to another, larger brush almost guaranteeing a damaged product. I seriously thought this was a knock-off as it’s not unheard of getting them from Amazon. I have another airbrush (not mentioning as I want to offer my review of this one) but wanted a fine detail airbrush that was not too expensive. The cup size is also small but that is probably more to do with the fine detail? I’m sending it back and will continue to look for for something that works. ... show more
