Once again Amtifo made a remarkable backup camera if you’re ok with a wired connection. I actually put mine on the front of my Dually. My truck is so big and tall I was needing help seeing up front. The hookup is so easy, route the wiring along the frame and attach with some zip ties then come up through the floorboard. It comes with wiring to connect to fuse box or a plug for the cigarette lighter. Unreal to get a camera for this price and have such clarity on the camera and monitor. And the monitor is the perfect size, not too big. I have not been disappointed at all with any of Amtifo cameras, I also have a wireless that I use on my 5th wheel which has not let me down. This camera worked great! This is a wired system priced very reasonably for as well as it works. The screen is very bright with a clear, sharp picture. At night the picture remains clear and very easy to see. The 7” screen is plenty big enough for the job, and has manual controls on the reverse for fine tuning such as flipping the picture, brightness and the like. This expands you choice of mounting locations because you can mount the screen upside down if needed. It’s perfect for helping you hook up a trailer with an older pickup! You simply can’t miss. Backing into a tight space or garage becomes easy. You will wonder why you didn’t do this sooner! If you have a car without a backup camera, or are simply tired of an old-school 2.5” video, I highly recommend this package. You have two options for the actual install. One is you use the accessory outlet and included push button to manually power up the camera system as needed. The second is to power it from the positive wire on one of your backup lights. This powers the whole system automatically when you place your car into reverse. It’s just a little longer install, but very worth it. The instructions tell you how to use the included wire taps to make it easy. Simply place the camera behind your license plate (and frame, if you have one) and manually pivot the camera to achieve the correct view. Plug in the wire. Be careful with the plug orientation, there is a guide molded into the plug and arrows on the outside to help Run the cable for the front camera and hide it along the molding and edge panels as needed. This is actually the hardest part but don’t worry, you have plenty of cable! Plug in the screen in front. Place it where it’s easy to see using the 3M adhesive included and you’re done! ... show more

    • Tip if you can't align the camera's guidelines to parking space properly!
So I've recently installed this reverse camera on my 2013 Nissan Sentra, and I have to say, first of all, the installation process was pretty easy. This product gave you the option to either power it up using a cigarette lighter port or a USB port in case you run out of cigarette lighter port on your car or your car does not have one, so that was a plus because my car only has one cigarette port and it's already used for something else. As for the wiring process, I did end up having to drill a small hole into my car's back panel in order to get the camera's wire inside the car--which I was skeptical about, but it's not as scary as I thought it would be as long as you properly covered the drilling area with tape to ensure your car's paint is not going to be scratched and make sure to drill using a slow speed because I learned that it's better to drill into metal using slow speed but strong pressure--but you may not have to do this if you can find ways to just tuck in the camera's wire into an open space that was already there on your car. After installing the camera, finishing wiring it, and ensuring that everything was functioning properly, I encountered a problem where the parking guideline was way off my parking space--like wayyyyyyyy offff. But, I managed to fix this by tilting the angle of the camera down, which apparently make the guidelines fits snugly to the parking space. So, if you see that your guideline is very off and can't seem to be able to fix it by adjusting the H, V, and W functions, then try to tilt the camera down because that has solved this problem for me. I don't know about the durability of this camera yet since I've only had it on for about 2 days, but so far, my experience with it has been great: The quality and night vision is spectacular and the seller is super nice and answer your question about the product usually within 1 day, so I would definitely recommend trying out this camera because the installation is easy, the quality is good, and the price is, to me, very reasonable! ... show more

    • Nice little camera
This is really a great little backup camera, it's wired so the signal strength is 100%. The best part about this camera is the monitor screen size, not as big and bulky as some yet big enough to be able to see clearly. Monitor can be placed on dash or attached to windshield as long as it's not obstructing your view of the road, it's easy to navigate through the menu, can be customized to fit your needs. The camera has a good clear picture, I mounted mine to the back of my minivan above the license plate and it works perfectly. The wire from camera to monitor was plenty long enough for my needs , having it on the van means when the hatch goes up the wire goes with it. I have a large wireless camera from this seller that I use when pulling my travel trailer ( 40' total length) and it's also one of the easiest setups .I will say customer service is awesome as well, no complaints here with product or seller. ... show more

This camera works really nice. Easy to assemble. But it depends on how we take the wiring to backside. Instructions in the manual and video links helpful. Great product for this price. Video image is clear and comes with different level of settings.
